A vehicle power source device which can improve the accuracy of battery deterioration detection. The vehicle power source device () is provided with: generator () which is in-built in a vehicle; high-voltage first battery () which stores the electricity generated by the generator (); DC/DC converter () which is provided between the generator () and the first battery (), and electrical component (); second battery () which is connected to the first battery () via the DC/DC converter (), and which has a lower voltage than the first battery (); and power source ECU () which controls the DC/DC converter (). If the current drawn from the first battery () satisfies predicted conditions, the power source ECU () increases the output voltage of the DC/DC converter, measures the parameters required to detect the deterioration of the first battery (), and determines the deterioration of the first battery ().

Power source device for vehicle

A navigation device displays, on a screen, a route guidance object indicating a route along which the vehicle is to travel, and includes: an image pickup section that obtains a photographed image ahead of the vehicle; a white line detection section that detects a road white line in the photographed image; a map information storage section that stores map information including road shape data which represents the road shape; a road shape data correction section that corrects the road shape data, based on a detection result of the road white line, such that the route guidance object is displayed along the road white line; a route guidance object generation section that generates the route guidance object, based on the corrected road shape data; and the display section that displays the generated route guidance object on the screen.

Navigation device, navigation method, and navigation program

An interactive route guide device capable of providing an appropriate amount of information with an appropriate timing in accordance with a user's desire. In the interactive route guide device, a storage device stores at least one table which defines a type of guide information to be provided for a route from a departure point to a destination point. An arithmetic processing unit generates the guide information according to the table in the storage device, and an output device outputs the generated guide information. The user uses an input device to input a guide request. The arithmetic processing unit manages at least a content of the inputted guide request and the number of times the guide request is inputted, and edits the table stored in the storage device in accordance with the content of the inputted guide request and the number of times the guide request is inputted.

Interactive route guide device

A navigation apparatus for guiding a vehicle to a destination, a data storing section stores an information set including at least location information for identifying a location of a travel burden point on a road network, link information indicating a road linked to the travel burden point, and a reference hesitation value indicating a degree of a driver's hesitation to go through the travel burden point, and a characteristic value of the driver. A point guidance data generating section generates point guidance data representing guidance for the travel burden point based on a current location derived by a location deriving section, a path obtained by a path obtaining section, and the information set and the driver characteristic value stored in the data storing section.

Navigation apparatus

A navigation device decreasing the frequency at which a user data stored in a data storage section, the navigation device includes a route receiving section for receiving route data, a data selecting section for selecting candidate location data indicating at least one location which exists on the route represented by the route data or in a vicinity of the route, and a location-change designating section for designating a location of change at which a guiding method is to be changed. In-car device and processing method for use with the in-car device

A turn-by-turn on-vehicle navigation system is capable of providing drivers with helpful and appropriate information to free them from their various anxieties caused as a result of relatively less information on a display. When the vehicle's current position is located on a recommended route after the completion of a certain guidance the driver is determined as properly driving the vehicle as expected, and receives a message telling that he/she is on the right track. With such a message, the driver does not feel anxiety that often occurs when making a turn at an intersection. Further, when the vehicle passes by a predetermined landmark located at close range, supplemental information is provided for the location. Such information removes the driver's uneasiness when he/she keeps going straight along the same road for a long time. Still further, at the destination, information about the area is provided. Thereby, the driver can feel secure even if he/she is new to the area.

On-vehicle navigation system

An information terminal is provided with a first input section , a position detector , a first arithmetic operation section , a data storage section , a first data reader , a connection information generator , and a first output section . The data storage section stores cartographic data having the data structure simplified but capable of recovering information about connection among nodes and links constructing a road network. The connection information generator complements the connection information of the cartographic data. The first arithmetic operation section uses the connection information complemented by the connection information generator to carry out data processing for various purposes, such as route search and position detection.
