A power supply system includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a power transmission circuit, and circuitry. The first energy storage outputs first output power to an electric load. The second energy storage outputs second output power to the electric load. The circuitry is configured to control the power transmission circuit to supply power from the first energy storage or from both of the first energy storage and the second energy storage to the electric load based on a demand power such that a first change in the first output power in accordance with a change in the demand power is lower than a second change in the second output power in accordance with the change in the demand power or a third change in an input power of the second energy storage in accordance with the change in the demand power.

A power supply system includes first and second energy storages, a power transmission circuit, and circuitry. The circuitry configured to control the power transmission circuit to supply power from at least one of the first energy storage and the second energy storage to an electric load when a first remaining capacity value is larger than a first threshold value. The circuitry configured to control the power transmission circuit to supply power from the first energy storage or both of the first energy storage and the second energy storage to the electric load when the first remaining capacity value is smaller than the first threshold value. The circuitry configured to control the power transmission circuit to stop supplying power from the first energy storage to the electric load when the first remaining capacity value is smaller than a second threshold value which is smaller than the first threshold value.

A converter is to convert at least one of a first voltage output from a first energy storage device and a second voltage output from a second energy storage device. A detector is to detect the first voltage and a current flowing between the first energy storage device and the second energy storage device. Circuitry is configured to control the converter to perform a first constant current control in which a first constant current flows from one of the first energy storage device and the second energy storage device to another of the first energy storage device and the second energy storage device. The circuitry is configured to determine a state of the first energy storage device based on the first voltage and the first constant current while the first constant current control is performed.

Energy storage apparatus, vehicle apparatus, and control method

An energy storage system includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a transformer, and circuitry. The first energy storage outputs a first output voltage. The second energy storage outputs a second output voltage. The transformer transforms at least one of the first output voltage and the second output voltage. The circuitry is configured to detect a sign of a fault in at least one of the first energy storage and the second energy storage. The circuitry is configured to control the transformer so as to transfer power from one energy storage among the first energy storage and the second energy storage to another energy storage among the first energy storage and the second energy storage in a case where the detector detects the sign of the fault in the one energy storage.

A power supply system includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a power transmission circuit, and circuitry. The circuitry acquires a request supply amount, a request output amount, and failure detection information. The circuitry controls the power transmission circuit in accordance with the at least one of the request supply amount and the request output amount such that a ratio of an amount of electric power supplied from or to the first energy storage and an amount of electric power supplied from or to the second energy storage is to be a first ratio in a normal operating. The circuitry controls the power transmission circuit in accordance with the at least one of the request supply amount and the request output amount such that the ratio is to be a second ratio which is different from the first ration in a partial failure state.

The circuitry is configured to determine a target remaining capacity range of the second energy storage in accordance with the temperature. An energy storage device includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a voltage converter, and a controller. The first energy storage has a first resistance to degradation of a charging capacity of the first energy storage. The second energy storage has a second resistance to degradation of a charging capacity of the second energy storage higher than the first resistance. The voltage converter converts a voltage output from the second energy storage or supplied from an external electric power source to charge at least one of the first energy storage and the second energy storage. The controller controls the voltage converter so as to supply electric power from the second energy storage to the first energy storage before charging the at least one of the second energy storage and the first energy storage with electric power supplied from the external electric power source.

An electric storage device includes a first electric capacitor, a second electric capacitor, a converter, and a processor. The converter converts electric power transmitted between an external power system external to the electric storage device and at least one of the first electric capacitor and second electric capacitor. The processor is configured to control the converter to operate in at least one of a first mode and a second mode, the first electric capacitor continuously discharging electric power to the external power system in the first mode, the second electric capacitor discharging electric power to the external power system and being charged by the external power system, intermittently, to stabilize frequencies in the external power system in the second mode.

The power transmitter is disposed among an electric load, the first energy storage, and the second energy storage. The electric load is configured to output a regenerative power while no power is supplied to the electric load. The regenerative power includes a first charging power charged in the first energy storage and a second charging power charged in the second energy storage. The circuitry is configured to acquire at least one of a regeneration index value and a remaining capacity value. The circuitry is configured to control the power transmitter to change a proportion of the first charging power and the second charging power in accordance with at least one of the regeneration index value and the remaining capacity value.
