A grease injection valveis provided having a valve bodyincluding a flow paththe valve body. A foreign matter intrusion prevention valveis provided at the upstream side of a check valvein the flow pathof valve body. Groovesare positioned around the periphery of a foreign matter intrusion prevention valve bodyin the flow pathto provide communication between the downstream side and the upstream side of the foreign matter intrusion prevention valve body. When the check valvehas a functional failure, high-pressure grease escapes through the groovesto bypass the foreign matter intrusion prevention valve bodyand is discharged to an exterior of the grease injection valve. This can avoid excessive pressure caused by the grease backflow from being applied to the foreign matter intrusion prevention valve
