A steering device that holds a steering member in such a manner that the steering member is movable between an advanced position where a driver can steer the steering member and a retracted position located closer to the front of a vehicle. The steering device includes: a fixed member attached to a vehicle body; a movable member to which a steering shaft holding the steering member is rotatably attached; and an upper guide mechanism and a lower guide mechanism that linearly guide the movable member with respect to the fixed member. An end on the advancing side of the upper guide mechanism is located further toward the advancing side than an end on the advancing side of the lower guide mechanism in an advancing and retracting direction of the movable member.

Steering device

A steering device that holds a steering member in such a manner that the steering member is movable between a first position where a driver can steer the steering member and a second position located closer to the front of a vehicle includes: a fixed member attached to a vehicle body; a movable member movably attached to the fixed member via a rail mechanism; a steering shaft attached to the movable member and rotatably holding the steering member; and a reaction force device attached to the movable member at a position non-coaxial with the steering shaft and configured to apply a reaction force to the steering shaft.

A magnet-embedded rotor includes a cylindrical rotor core that rotates together with a rotating shaft; and permanent magnets embedded in the rotor core. The rotor core includes core members, and each core member includes a tubular portion into which the rotating shaft is inserted and projecting portions formed to project in a radial direction of the tubular portion from an outer periphery of the tubular portion and arranged apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the tubular portion. The rotor core is formed by assembling the core members such that the tubular portions are arranged on one straight line and the projecting portion of the core member and the projecting portion of the other core member are adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction of the rotor core. The permanent magnet is embedded in each projecting portion of each core member.

Magnet-embedded rotor, method for manufacturing magnet-embedded rotor, and orientation and magnetization device

An interior permanent magnet rotor includes a cylindrical rotor core having an axial hole extending in an axial direction, and a resin magnet that is formed to fill the axial hole by injection molding and that has a pair of axial end faces. The resin magnet includes a linear portion that has a linear shape in section perpendicular to the axial direction of the rotor core. The linear portion has a first end and a second end located closer to an outer periphery of the rotor core than the first end is. A gate mark is located on the second end of the linear portion on at least one of the axial end faces of the resin magnet.

Interior permanent magnet rotor and method and apparatus for manufacturing the same

A manufacturing device for a rotor core includes: a magnetization device that magnetizes magnet raw materials before being magnetized disposed in magnet insertion holes of the rotor core to turn the magnet raw materials before being magnetized into permanent magnets; and a detachment device that detaches the rotor core from the magnetization device. The detachment device also functions as a mounting device that mounts a jig around the rotor core when the rotor core is detached from the magnetization device.
