An electric tool includes a motor, a first intermediate member configured to be displaced when a first accessory is attached to a first attachment portion, a second intermediate member configured to be displaced when a second accessory is attached to a second attachment portion, and a first interlock member. The first interlock member mechanically moves in conjunction with the respective displacements of the first intermediate member and the second intermediate member. The first interlock member is displaced in the same direction between when the first accessory is attached and when the second accessory is attached, and is cumulatively displaced when the first accessory and the second accessory are attached. The electric tool is configured in such a manner that power supply to the motor is permitted only in a state that the first interlock member is cumulatively displaced.

Electric tool

An electric power tool. The electric power tool may include: a motor; a control device configured to control the motor; a power transmission mechanism connected to the motor; a housing that houses the motor, the control device and the power transmission mechanism; an end tool holder connected to the power transmission mechanism; an accessory configured to be detachably attached to the housing; and a detector configured to detect whether the accessory is attached or not. The detector may include: a link member configured to move with respect to the housing according to the accessory being attached or detached; a magnet fixed in position with respect to one of the link member and the housing; and a magnetic sensor fixed in position with respect to another of the link member and the housing.

Electric power tool

A power tool, such as a grinder, may include: a prime mover such as a motor; a power-transmission mechanism operably connected to the prime mover; a housing that houses the prime mover and the power-transmission mechanism; and a tool-accessory retaining part for holding a tool accessary. The tool-accessory retaining part is operably connected to the power-transmission mechanism. An accessory is mounted on the housing in a detachable manner. A link member moves in response to mounting and demounting of the accessory. A detection sensor is housed in an interior of the housing and includes a non-contact sensor device. The detection sensor is configured to detect movement of the link member using the non-contact sensor device.

Tool with accessory detection

A wheel cover including a first cover attachable to a body of a power tool and a second cover removably attachable to the first cover reduces rattling of the second cover. The wheel cover includes a first cover attachable to a body of the power tool to cover at least a portion of a first surface of the tip tool adjacent to the body of the power tool, a second cover removably attachable to the first cover to cover at least a portion of a second surface of the tip tool opposite to the body of the power tool, and a rattle restrainer that reduces, while the second cover is attached to the first cover, rattling of the second cover relative to the first cover.

Wheel cover for electric tool

The disclosure discloses an electric power tool. The electric power tool may include a motor, a power transmission mechanism connected to the motor, a housing that houses the motor and the power transmission mechanism, an end tool holder to which an end tool is configured to be attached and from which the end tool is configured to be detached, and connected to the power transmission mechanism, and a handle attached to the housing. The electric power tool may be configured to prohibit rotation of the motor when a user is not gripping the handle.

A hand-held tool, such as a disc grinder, is used to perform work at a high work site, a countermeasure is taken to prevent the hand-held tool from falling by using a suspension tool, such as a tether strap. If a coupling part that couples the suspension tool to the hand-held tool is damaged, this fact is notified to a user. Thereby, an original function of the suspension tool can be reliably performed. If a large impact is applied to a coupling member via a suspension tool, the coupling member is displaced to a second position, due to the deformation of a first position retaining member. A conductive portion disengages from contacts to cause a power circuit to be shut off, thereby prohibiting a main body part from being activated.

Hand-held tool

A power tool may include: a motor; a power transmission mechanism connected to the motor; a housing that houses the motor and the power transmission mechanism; a tip tool holder connected to the power transmission mechanism and holding a tip tool; and a cover covering at least a part of the tip tool. The cover may include: a fixed cover portion fixed to the housing; a movable cover portion movable with respect to the fixed cover portion; and an operation member mechanically connected to the movable cover portion and configured to move the movable cover portion with respect to the fixed cover portion.

Power tool and cover

A grinder includes a brake mechanism, a switch lever, and a slide bar. In the grinder, an interlocking mechanism configured to interlock the brake mechanism with the switch lever includes a link member that is interposed between the switch lever and the slide bar, that moves the slide bar to the forward position at the push-in position of the switch lever, and that moves the slide bar to the retraction position at the initial position of the switch lever.

A power tool includes a side handle that can be toollessly positioned and also attached to or detached from a tool body. The power tool includes a tool body having a side surface, a side handle on the side surface of the tool body, and an operable portion operable to attach or detach the side handle to or from the tool body and to position the side handle being attached to the tool body.

A grinder includes a motor, a housing, a spindle and a cover. The spindle protrudes downward from the housing, is driven by the motor, and thereby rotates. The cover at least partially covers a tool accessory mounted on the spindle. The cover includes a first cover part and a second cover part. The first cover part is fixed to the housing and at least partially covers the tool accessory from above. The second cover part is held such that it is capable of moving relative to the first cover part. The grinder is configured such that the area of the tool accessory covered by the cover changes in accordance with the relative movement.

A grinder includes a motor, a housing, a spindle and a cover. The spindle protrudes downward from the housing, is driven by the motor, and thereby rotates. The cover is provided on the spindle in the circumferential direction and at least partially covers a tool accessory, which is mounted on the spindle. The cover is configured such that at least one part deforms and/or is composed of an elastic material.
