The sleeve is crimped to the outer periphery of the braid, the braid is folded back by the folding-back portion at the front end side of the sleeve, the folded-back braid covers the outer periphery of the sleeve, the braided crimping piece of the shield terminal is crimped to the outer periphery of the sleeve via the folded-back braid, the folded-back braid is held between the sleeve and the braid crimping piece, the sheath crimping piece is crimped to the outer periphery of the sheath, and when a tensile force is applied in the direction in which the cable is relatively separated from the shield terminal, the sleeve is moved in the tensile direction, so that the rear end edge of the sleeve and the front end edge of the sheath crimping piece are brought into abutment with each other.

Cable assembly

A connector includes a first housing, a second housing and a fitting assuring member. The second housing includes a first locking protrusion portion having a first slope. The fitting assuring member includes a first assuring locking portion that gets over the first locking protrusion portion to be thereby locked to the first locking protrusion portion when the first housing and the second housing are fitted to each other. The first assuring locking portion begins to slide on the first slope before completion of the fitting, and stays on the first slope until the completion of the fitting.

A housing includes a housing main body provided with a terminal holding portion including a terminal accommodating chamber configured to accommodate a terminal, a retainer assembled to the terminal holding portion of the housing main body, and an annular seal member mounted to a tubular seal mounting portion formed on an assembly side to the retainer in the housing main body. The retainer includes an engaging piece protruding in a direction of assembling to the housing main body. The engaging piece is inserted into an inner side of the seal mounting portion and abuts on an inner surface of the seal mounting portion.

A connector includes a housing formed with a L-shape in a side view having a connection portion capable of fitting to a mating connector, a terminal mounted on the housing by inserting a connection terminal portion into a terminal accommodation portion of the connection portion, an electric wire connected to the electric wire of the terminal and led out from the housing, a ferrite core mounted on the electric wire and assembled from the rear side of the housing, and a cover mounted on the rear surface of the housing and covering the terminal and the ferrite core. The cover includes a recessed portion, which receives an end portion of the ferrite core inclined by an external impact, on a facing surface facing the ferrite core assembled to the housing.

Connector

A connector includes a housing that has a L-shape in a side view and in which a connection portion capable fitting to the mating connector is projected, a terminal having a connection terminal portion and an electric wire connection portion and mounted to the housing by inserting the connection terminal portion into a terminal accommodation portion formed in the connection portion, an electric wire connected to the electric wire connection portion of the terminal and led out from the housing, a ferrite core mounted to the electric wire and accommodated in the housing. The housing includes a rib formed along an extending direction of the connection portion, and a hole portion formed at a root portion of the rib.

A connector connection structure includes a first connector and a second connector. A second component of the first connector includes a pair of locking arm portions protruding outwardly from an outer periphery of a main body portion of the second component at opposite end portions of the outer periphery. A first component of the first connector includes an abutting surface extending in an up-and-down direction on an inner periphery of a cylindrical portion of the first component and facing toward a rear side of the first connector in a fitting direction. The pair of locking arm portions and the abutting surface have a structure in which at least one part of a tip surface of the locking arm portions first receives a force from the abutting surface when the tip surface receives the force on the rear side in the fitting direction from the abutting surface.

A connector includes: a housing which is connected to a counterpart connector; and a slider held in the housing to be movable in a fitting direction. The housing and the slider include: a guide mechanism configured to guide a movement of the slider to the housing in the fitting direction; and a stopper mechanism configured to prevent the slider from being detached from the housing to the front side of the connector in the fitting direction. The guide mechanism has: a pair of ribs provided in one of the housing and the slider, the ribs extending in the fitting direction; and a pair of grooves provided in the other of the housing and the slider, the grooves extending in the fitting direction. The stopper mechanism is provided at a location adjacent to an end part of the guide mechanism at the front side of the connector in the fitting direction.

A female terminal includes a housing main body, a sealing member mounted to the fitting protrusion of the housing main body and sealing between the fitting protrusion and the fitted hood portion of a male housing, and a lock arm including a cantilever-shaped elastic arm portion extending from an outer peripheral surface of the housing main body to a fitting side with the male housing and having a locking portion engaged with and/or disengaged from a locking protrusion formed on the male housing. A protective wall integrally provided at a base of the elastic arm portion is formed on an outer surface of the housing main body, and is provided over the housing main body at a position in the housing main body facing a gap between the hood portion and the housing main body when the fitting protrusion of the housing main body is fitted to the hood portion.

A connector includes a housing having a terminal receiving chamber having an opening on one or both of opposite sides in a preset direction crossing an insertion direction of a connection terminal; and a side retainer having a pair of opposed plate portions disposed in positions to sandwich the housing from the opposite sides in the preset direction. The side retainer is attached laterally to the housing and movably supported on the housing to move between a temporary locking position to temporarily lock the connection terminal and a formal locking position to formally lock the connection terminal. One or both of the opposed plate portions of the side retainer covers one or both of the opposite sides of the terminal receiving chamber when the side retainer locates at the formal locking position.

A member locking structure includes: a first locking portion provided in a first member; and a second locking portion provided in a second member. The first locking portion and the second locking portion have a first locking face and a second locking face. The first locking face has a first inclined face and a first abutment portion. The second locking face has a second inclined face and a second abutment portion. The first inclined face contacts the second abutment portion and then the first abutment portion contacts the second inclined face, during a relative movement of the first member to the second member in an opposite direction to the locking direction from the locking state, to elastically deform the first locking portion in a direction opposite to lock on the second locking portion by the first inclined face and the second inclined face to release the locking state.

Member locking structure

A connector includes a housing; and a fitting assurance member slidably attached to an outer side of the housing. The housing has a locking portion to be locked to the locked portion during a movement of the housing in a fitting direction to the counterpart housing. The fitting assurance member slides and moves relatively to the housing in the fitting direction from a temporary locking position to a formal locking position. The housing has an unlocking operation portion to apply unlocking force to the locking portion. The fitting assurance member has a pair of side walls on the outer side of the housing and a coupling portion connecting end portions of the pair of side walls. The coupling portion is located between the unlocking operation portion and the housing and separated from the unlocking operation portion.

A connector includes a connector housing and a fitting assurance member. A repulsion arm of the connector housing is sandwiched between an arm contact portion of a mating connector and an arm displacement regulation portion of the fitting assurance member and the repulsion arm is elastically deformed to be pressed to an outside by a leading end portion of the arm contact portion to be stretched in a straight line, when the leading end portion of the arm contact portion slides on an inner inclined surface of an arm inclined portion of the repulsion arm toward an arm leading end of the repulsion arm.

A connector includes a tubular connector housing inside which a terminal accommodating room is formed, a terminal that is inserted into the terminal accommodating room from behind, and a retainer that retains the terminal which is accommodated in the terminal accommodating room by being mounted to the connector housing from a direction crossing the inserting direction of the terminal, wherein the retainer is formed with a terminal contact part which is inserted from an opening, with which a wall of the terminal accommodating room of the connector housing is formed, to touch the terminal which is accommodated in the terminal accommodating room, and the terminal contact part is formed into such a shape to push the terminal toward the front side of the terminal accommodating room in a process that the retainer moves to a regular position of the connector housing.
