A vehicle power conversion device includes: a housing configured to accommodate an electronic component therein and having an opening; and a cooling device. The cooling device includes a base being a plate-shaped member and heat sinks attached to the base. The base has a groove with refrigerant enclosed. The base has a first main surface to which the electronic component is to be attached, and covers the opening by the first main surface facing an interior of the housing. The heat sinks are joined, at intervals, onto the second main surface of the base.

Vehicle power conversion device

An overcurrent detection circuit includes a di/dt detection circuit to detect di/dt of a current Ie that flows in an emitter of an IGBT, a control circuit to detect whether the current Ie is an overcurrent based on di/dt and to output a detection result to a driving circuit, and a mask circuit to set a mask period in which an operation of overcurrent determination in the control circuit is masked.

Overcurrent detection circuit and power converter

In order to obtain a drive circuit of a power semiconductor device capable of making a fast response to a voltage fluctuation dV/dt and preventing a malfunction of the power semiconductor device while suppressing power consumption with a simple circuit configuration, a control circuit controlling ON and OFF switching of the power semiconductor device, a DC power supply supplying a voltage between control terminals of the power semiconductor device, and a switching element connected between the control terminals of the power semiconductor device are provided. The switching element turns ON in a case where a power supply voltage of the DC power supply drops or in a case where the voltage between the control terminals of the power supply device increases in a state where the power supply voltage of the DC power supply has dropped, and thereby causes a short-circuit between the control terminals of the power semiconductor device.

Drive circuit of power semiconductor device

In a filter capacitor including three capacitor elements including a first capacitor element at an end on one side in an electrical connection form and a second capacitor element at an end on the other side, a pair of direct-current terminals including a positive-electrode-side main terminal and a negative-electrode-side main terminal, which receive a direct-current voltage from a direct-current power supply, are provided, a first conductor path length between a positive-electrode-side terminal of the first capacitor element and the positive-electrode-side main terminal and a second conductor path length between a positive-electrode-side terminal of the second capacitor element and the positive-electrode-side main terminal are approximately the same, and a third conductor path length between a negative-electrode-side terminal of the first capacitor element and the negative-electrode-side main terminal and a fourth conductor path length between the negative-electrode-side terminal of the second capacitor element and the negative-electrode-side main terminal are approximately the same.

Power converter

A power converter, which performs cooling of a switching element by using a boiling cooling apparatus that makes use of a boiling phenomenon of a coolant incorporated therein, includes a control unit to control an operation of the power converter based on a deviation between an element attachment surface temperature, which is a temperature of an attachment surface of the switching element, and a cooling apparatus intake air temperature. When the deviation between the element attachment surface temperature and the cooling apparatus intake air temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold, the control unit performs control of stopping the power converter.
