An evaporator includes: a housing having a plurality of surfaces including a front surface and a back surface, at least one of the front and back surfaces having the largest area among the plurality of surfaces; and a heat-absorbing element disposed on at least one of the front and back surfaces and thermally connected to a heat source. The housing includes: at least one working fluid inlet located in a surface of the housing, the surface being other than a top surface of the housing; and at least one pair of working fluid outlets located respectively in opposite longitudinal end portions of the top surface.

A heat transport system includes: a two-phase closed loop heat pipe; a pump disposed in a liquid conduit or a vapor conduit of the loop heat pipe to exert a circulation drive force on a working fluid; a tilt sensor that detects a tilt of the loop heat pipe; and a controller configured to run the pump if the tilt is greater than a predetermined tilt threshold and stop the pump if the tilt is equal to or smaller than the tilt threshold.

Outer panel-mediated cooling system

An outer panel-mediated cooling system includes: an outer shell including an outer panel, an inner panel located inward of the outer panel, and a heat-insulating layer located between the outer and inner panels; a cooling chamber that is located between the outer and inner panels and in which a gas releases heat outside through the outer panel and is thus cooled; a circulation loop in which a heat medium circulates, the circulation loop including a heating section located inward of the inner panel to heat the heat medium and a cooling section located in the cooling chamber to cool the heat medium; a flow path-forming structure located in the cooling chamber to form a circulation path for the gas; and a fan located in the cooling chamber to exert a drive force on the gas to allow the gas to circulate in the circulation path.

The air-conditioning system in vehicle has first and second outlets arranged on both sides of the vehicle in a vehicle width direction and discharging conditioned air having substantially the same air volume into an interior, and an air regulating member setting a merging position of air flows discharged from the first and second outlets to the position where the line segment connecting the vehicle body center position and the aisle center position is internally divided at a ratio of between 20:80 and 86:14.

An air-conditioning duct in a passenger car of transportation which is extended in a vehicle length direction in a ceiling portion of the passenger car utilized by the general public and receives conditioned air from an air-conditioning apparatus regulating a temperature of the air to guide the conditioned air into an inside of the passenger car. The air-conditioning duct in a passenger car has a non-uniform distribution configuration which makes the discharge volume of the conditioned air from the air-conditioning duct into the inside of the passenger car different and non-uniform among the respective regions of the inside of the passenger car.
