The present invention addresses the problem of providing a camera position/attitude calibration device with which the relative position/attitude of a camera and a robot can be calibrated without interrupting a task which is set in the robot. This camera position/attitude calibration device is characterized by operating a robot and comprising: a task operation planning unit that plans, on the basis of an image captured by a camera installed in a robot and the position/attitude of the robot, an operation for executing a task which has been set in the robot; a calibration operation planning unit that plans, on the basis of the image and the position/attitude of the robot, an operation necessary for calibrating the relative position/attitude of the camera and the robot; and an integration operation planning unit that plans an operation by integrating the task operation plan which has been planned by the task operation planning unit and the calibration operation plan which has been planned by the calibration operation planning unit.

An information processing apparatus simulates a measurable region of a sensor when the sensor is arranged in a measurement region to be measured, and the information processing apparatus includes: a generation unit that generates a measurement region map with environment information based on a three-dimensional model of the measurement region to be measured and the environment information that causes a change in a measurement result of the sensor; an execution unit that virtually arranges the sensor on the measurement region map with environment information generated by the generation unit, and simulates the measurable region of the sensor based on sensor information related to the measurable region of the sensor; and an output unit that outputs a result of simulation by the execution unit.

Information processing apparatus and measurable region simulation method

A photographing device for photographing a monitored area has a state diagnosis of a camera using a stereo camera configured by two or more cameras. A diagnostic pattern database is provided in which information on a plurality of images having different photographing conditions obtained by the stereo camera are stored in advance as diagnostic patterns. Disparity information is acquired based on image data from the stereo camera and a state diagnosis of the camera is performed by determining whether the camera is abnormal or normal based on the disparity information with reference to the information on the plurality of images having different photographing conditions stored in the diagnostic pattern database. Upon receiving a result of the state diagnosis, at least one of illumination control, shutter control, and posture control of the camera or the stereo camera is performed.
