A working machine may include: a fan configured to generate an air flow inside a first space; a control unit disposed inside the first space; a partition wall separating the first space from a second space; a first aperture communicating the first space with the second space; and a rib extending from the partition wall and forming an air passage in which the air flow passes, wherein the air passage is positioned between the control unit and the rib. The control unit may include a case housing a circuit board. The control unit may include a first surface facing the rib. In a first direction perpendicular to the first surface, the rib and the first surface may at least partially overlap with each other. A distance between the rib and the first surface may be smaller than a thickness of the case in the first direction.

Working machine

An electric working machine may include a support rod, a head unit, a position fixing mechanism, and a resistance member. The support rod may extend in a front-rear direction and include an attachment portion located at a front end of the support rod. The head unit may include a front tool, a motor configured to drive the front tool, and a head housing supporting the front tool and coupled to the attachment portion rotatably about a rotation axis. The position fixing mechanism may be configured to fix a rotation position of the head unit with respect to the support rod. The resistance member may be interposed between the attachment portion and the head housing with respect to a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis. The resistance member may be configured to provide a resistance force against rotation of the head unit with respect to the support rod.

An electric working machine may include a support rod extending in a front-rear direction; a head unit attached to a front end of the support rod and including a front tool and a motor configured to drive the front tool; and a grip unit attached to a rear end of the support rod. The grip unit may include a grip housing configured to be gripped by an operator; a detection sensor attached to the grip housing and configured to detect an on/off operation for the motor by the operator; and a presence sensor attached to the grip housing and configured to detect a grip by the operator on the grip housing. The support rod may not penetrate through the grip housing. In a rear plan view of the electric working machine, at least one of the detection sensor and the presence sensor at least partially may overlap the support rod.

An engine includes: a piston; a carburetor having a diaphragm fuel pump, the diaphragm fuel pump including a pump chamber configured to suck and discharge fuel and a diaphragm chamber to which a pressure to drive the pump chamber is applied; and a communicating passage configured to connect between the diaphragm chamber and a negative pressure part in which a negative pressure is created due to movement of the piston. A flowback prevention part is formed in the communicating passage to allow fluid to move only in on direction from the diaphragm chamber to the negative pressure part.

A bush cutter is provided with a main pole, a cutting blade disposed at an anterior end of the main pole, a prime mover disposed at a posterior end of the main pole and configured to drive the cutting blade, and a handle disposed at an intermediate portion of the main pole and provided with a grip that is configured to be grasped by a user. The grip is provided with a driving switch for driving the cutting blade and an adjusting switch for adjusting at least one of a rotation speed and a rotation direction of the cutting blade. The driving switch and the adjusting switch are arranged so as to enable the user who grasps the grip to operate the driving switch and the adjusting switch with a hand grasping the grip without releasing the hand from the grip.

Bush cutter

A bush cutter comprises an operating rod, a cutting unit, a main unit and a transfer shaft. The cutting unit is disposed at a front end of the operating rod and rotatably supports a cutting blade. The main unit is disposed at a rear end of the operating rod and houses a motor that drives the cutting blade. The transfer shaft is disposed within the operating rod and transfer output torque of the motor from the main unit to the cutting unit. An adapter is fixed to the rear end of the operating rod and the main unit is provided with a rod insertion hole configured to receive the rear end of the operating rod with the adapter fixed. This configuration may prevent the operating rod, which has versatility, from being erroneously assembled.

The purpose of the present invention is to maintain a better usability and a better electrical connection, while restricting burden on an attachment portion of an electric tool. In an attachment portion of a chain saw to which a battery pack is mounted, a pair of ribs are provided parallel to and on outer surfaces of the guide rails. On the contrary, a connecting member of a remote control holder has a connecting wall positioned outside the guide rails and having a pair of recessed grooves for allowing the pair of ribs to be fitted into the recessed grooves. The chain saw can be connected to the connecting member without utilizing the guide rails and by the engagement between the ribs and the connecting wall.

A push mower having a height adjustment lever, which can be manipulated easily, is provided. The provided push mower includes: a main body configured to move along a ground; a blade attached to the main body; a height adjustment lever attached to the main body; and a height adjustment mechanism configured to change a height of the blade from the ground based on a position of the height adjustment lever. The height adjustment lever includes: a pillar protruding from the main body; a grip fixed to the pillar; and a lock member attached to the grip and configured to move with respect to the grip between a lock position and an unlock position. A movement of the height adjustment lever is inhibited when the lock member is at the lock position, and the movement of the height adjustment lever is allowed when the lock member is at the unlock position.
