A control device for a vehicle has a compressor for an air-conditioning device that is driven by a vehicle drive source, and a condenser for the air-conditioning device that is disposed at a front side of the vehicle. A request torque to the vehicle drive source is determined as a sum of an air-conditioning load which is spent for driving the compressor and a running torque necessary to drive the vehicle by a drive wheel. The running torque is calculated based on an accelerator manipulation of a driver. A range-position signal indicating a selected range position is read. A value of the air-conditioning load when the air-conditioning device is in operation and the range position is in a Reverse-range is larger than a value of the air-conditioning load when the range position is in a Drive-range with respect to an identical refrigerant pressure of the air-conditioning device.

Device and method for controlling vehicle

A hybrid vehicle control device is provided for controlling a drive system. The hybrid vehicle control device is programmed to perform an engine start control using a motor/generator as an engine start motor when an engine start request is present. The hybrid vehicle control device includes a second clutch control section and an engine start control section. The second clutch control section completely disengages the second clutch. The engine start control section engages or slip engages of the first clutch, and performs engine start control resulting from performing an engine cranking operation, injecting air and fuel and igniting same. The hybrid vehicle control module disengages the first clutch and engages the second clutch during coasting/regenerating driving with the motor/generator while traveling in an electric vehicle mode when the engine start request is due to a driver input for an increase in a required driving force.

Hybrid vehicle control device

A control apparatus of a hybrid vehicle that uses a combination of an engine and a traveling motor as vehicle drive sources has an engine speed detector configured to detect an engine rotational speed, an EV-state determination unit configured to determine whether a mode is an EV state in which the traveling motor is mainly used as the drive source; an EV-state annunciator configured to notify a driver about the EV state, and a switching controller configured to control switching between notification and non-notification about the EV state. The switching controller is configured to bring the EV-state annunciator to a non-notification state when the EV-state determination unit determines that the mode is not the EV state and the engine rotational speed is greater than a predetermined first threshold value.

Hybrid vehicle control device and control method

A hybrid vehicle control device for a drive system is provided with an engine, a motor and an automatic transmission. The hybrid vehicle control device is configured such that when there is a mode switch request during an EV mode where only the motor is used as a drive source, a shift is made to an HEV mode where the engine and the motor are used as drive sources. The hybrid vehicle control device is further configured such that if a mode switch request and a downshift request for the automatic transmission (are generated, mode switch control is immediately started first. The configuration is also such that downshift control is started once the rotational speed of the engine has reached a combustion possible rotational speed, and the transmission speed at this time is made to be faster than an ordinary transmission speed.
