A desensitizing treatment liquid for offset printing plates, which contains a compound represented by formula (I)wherein &#x3c6; represents &#x2014;POH, &#x2014;OPOH, or the salt thereof and Rrepresents an organic residue which may have a substituent. The desensitizing treatment liquid gives no problems to environmental pollution, is stable to the long-period storage and the continuous use, can shorten the etching treatment time, and is excellent in the desensitizing treatment ability as well as can provide an offset printing plate having a good reproducibility of highly minute images of a middle tone, screen tint, etc., and capable of printing without forming scumming at the non-image area.

Disclosed is a process for producing a lithographic printing plate using a lithographic printing plate precursor comprising a support having a volume resistivity of more than 1.times.10.sup.10 .OMEGA..cm, an electrically conductive layer provided on one surface of the support and having a volume resistivity of 1.times.10.sup.5 .OMEGA..cm or less and a photoconductive layer provided on the electrically conductive layer and containing zinc oxide and a binder, the process comprising applying negative corona discharge to the lithographic printing plate precursor from the photoconductive layer side and at this discharging, contacting an electric conductor having an earth potential at least with the support of the lithographic printing plate precursor to electrically charging the photoconductive layer of the lithographic printing plate precursor.

Production process of lithographic printing plate

A desensitizing solution for lithography is disclosed which contains at least one member selected from acyclic amine and ammonium compounds each containing specific structures. The desensitizing solution does not cause environmental pollution, is stable to long-term storage, continuous use, and fluctuations in environmental conditions, is effective in reducing the time required for etching treatment, and has excellent desensitization performance.

Desensitizing solution for offset printing

An electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor obtained from an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a conductive support having provided thereon at least one photoconductive layer containing photoconductive zinc oxide and a resin binder, wherein said resin binder comprises a resin containing at least one functional group capable of forming at least one hydroxyl group upon being decomposed. The printing plate precursor exhibits high image reproducibility, stain resistance, and green preservability, and a printing plate obtained therefrom has high resistance to background stain and has printing durability.

Electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor

A photoconductive composition which exhibits excellent dark reduction retention, excellent sensitivity to radiation from the near infrared region to the infrared region as well as excellent long-term stability, is comprised of an inorganic photoconductor, a cyclic acid anhydride and a spectral sensitizing dye dispersed in a binding resin. A laser beam scanning exposure can be performed on said composition to produce electrophotographic images.

Electrophotographic photosensitive material with binder combination

An electrophotographic printing plate precursor is disclosed, comprising a conductive support having provided thereo1 at least one photoconductive layer containing photoconductive zinc oxide and at least one resin binder, wherein said resin binder contains at least one functional group capable of forming at least one hydroxyl group and at least one carboxyl group upon decomposition. The printing plate precursor can reproduce an image faithful to an original and exhibits satisfactory surface smoothness and electrostatic characteristics. The printing plate produced from the precursor does not cause background stains and exhibits excellent printing durability.

An electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor is disclosed, comprising a conductive support having provided thereon at least one photoconductive layer containing photoconductive zinc oxide and a resin binder, wherein said resin binder comprises a resin containing at least one functional group capable of forming a carboxylic acid upon being decomposed. The printing plate precursor forms an image faithful to an original and causes no background stains because of improved oil-insensitivity of non-image areas, and a printing plate obtained therefrom exhibits high stain resistance and printing durability.
