A flush toilet device has a toilet body having a bowl section, rim water discharge opening, a jet water discharge opening, and a discharge water trap conduit. A pressurizing pump is provided for pressurizing flush water contained in a cistern to supply it to the jet water discharge opening. A pump controller regulates the operation and rotation speed of the pressurizing pump to regulate the flow speed and flow rate of flush water discharged from the jet water discharge opening so that flush water at a first flow rate for generating a siphon effect is discharged and then at a second flow rate is discharged at the end of the siphon effect generated by the first flow rate. The second flow rate having a flow speed that can carry away human wastes and causes the siphon effect to continue by closing the cross section of any portion of the discharge water trap conduit.

Flush toilet

A flush toilet in which an appropriate amount of water is supplied and that can be installed in an area where water pressure is low. The flush toilet is flushed with pressurized flush water and has a flush toilet body having a bowl and a drain trap pipe path; a pressurizing pump for pressurizing flush water to be jetted out; a water storage tank for storing flush water to be pressurized; flush control means for causing rim water discharge to be performed for a predetermined rim water discharge time by water supply pressure of running water and also causing jet water discharge to be made to flush the bowl; flush water replenishing means for replenishing, after the bowl is flushed, flush water to the water storage tank from the running water to thereby return the amount of flush water stored in the water storage tank to a specified level; timing means for measuring a water replenishing time after the flush water replenishing is started until the amount of flush water stored in the water storage tank return to the specified level; and water discharge time regulation means for regulating the rim water discharge time based on the water replenishing time.

A flush toilet for prevention of reverse flow and uses a reduced number of parts. The flush toilet includes a toilet body having a bowl, a rim water outlet, a jet water outlet, and a discharge water trap piping; a water storage tank. A flush water supply mechanism is provided for supplying flush water to the rim water outlet and the water storage tank and a pressurizing pump pressurizes the flush water in the water storage tank. A jet-side water supply path supplies the pressurized flush water to the jet water outlet. An overflow path is provided having a lower end connected to the downstream side of the highest position of the jet-side water supply path and an upper end opened in the upper part in the water storage tank with a flapper valve provided in the overflow path.

A lifting and lowering device () for a toilet seat or a toilet cover has a swing shaft () provided on a swing center line (C) of a toilet seat () or a toilet cover () that swings around base end portions (), respectively, and rises. The device includes a lifting and lowering control unit () indirectly fixed to a toilet bowl main body (); an output shaft () that is provided on the swing center line (C), one end portion of which shaft being removably connected to the swing shaft () of the lifting and lowering control unit () and the other end portion being detacheably connected to the base end portion () of the toilet seat (); and a toilet seat transmission unit () containing a tortion spring () that urges the output shaft () in a lifting direction of the toilet seat (). The lifting and lowering device () for the toilet seat of toilet cover is relatively small in size and able to stabely hold the toilet seat or toilet cover in a raised position. Commonality of structural parts can be achieved depending on the magunitude of torque caused by the self weight of the toilet seat or toilet cover.

An automatic lifting and lowering device for a toilet seat or a toilet cover usable for a toilet seat provided with a function of washing a body with hot water, which requires reduced size and weight, includes a rotating shaft () rotated together with the toilet seat or the toilet cover, a drive motor () rotating the rotating shaft () in normal and reverse directions, and a speed reduction gear train (). The drive force of the drive motor () is transmitted to the rotating shaft () through the speed reduction gear train () to automatically lift and lower the toilet seat or toilet cover, whereby the automatic lifting and lowering device itself can be formed compact by using a planetary gear mechanism for the speed reduction gear train ().

Automatic toilet seat or toilet cover lifting and lowering device

A damper device includes a check valve operated to apply braking force to a rotary shaft having wing portions when rotated in a cylinder in one direction and, when the rotary shaft is rotated in the opposite direction, the check valve is not operated. Movement restricting flow passages for restricting the movement of a viscous fluid between front and rear-side oil chambers divided by the wing portions are formed between an inner wall of the cylinder and the wing portions, and a selective communication passage having the check valve is formed between the wing portions and one of two side walls forming the oil chambers, such that the side wall and the check valve can be rotated along with the rotation of the wing portions, thereby avoiding rotation of the check valve in contact with the inner wall of the cylinder, for pronged service life of the damper device.

A modular toilet bowl assembly bowl assembly that allows adjustment of the relevant dimensions of the inlet of the outlet as well as the height of a toilet bowl without modifying the toilet bowl body. The toilet bowl includes a toilet bowl and upper drain pipe portion that are formed integrally as a single piece, a lower drain pipe portion that is formed separately from the toilet stool. The lower drain pipe portion may be formed of a series of parts having known dimensions so that by interior moving predetermined parts, the length or height of the toilet bowl can be adjusted.

A flush toilet bowl comprises a bowl part (1) and a discharge trap (2) formed continuously at the bottom of the bowl part, and the discharge trap (2) further comprises a rising channel (22) extending in the obliquely upward direction from the bottom of the bowl part, a first weir (27) formed at the upper end of the rising channel, a descending channel (23) extending downwardly from the first weir, and a cross-laid channel (24) extending substantially in the horizontal direction from the lower end of the descending channel and having a discharge opening (25) at the end. The cross-laid channel (24) is provided with an upwardly bent second weir (28) between the lower end of the descending channel and the discharge opening, and a gathered water part (29) is formed between the second weir (28) and the lower end of the descending channel and, simultaneously, the descending channel is formed in the vicinity of the lower end thereof with a horizontal part (26) extending horizontally toward the cross-laid channel (24).

High performance flush toilet

A flush toilet stool includes a toilet bowl and a trap drainage passage connected to the toilet bowl. The toilet bowl has a water jet hole defined in a bottom region thereof and opening toward the trap drainage passage. A pressurizing unit such as a water pump is coupled to the water jet hole for drawing water under lower pressure directly from an external water supply and expelling the water under higher pressure through the water jet hole toward the trap drainage passage to develop a siphon flow to discharge sewage from the toilet bowl through the trap drainage passage.

Siphon-jet flush water supply system for toilet stool

A battery-operated flushing system (10) comprises a flushing valve (34) of the pilot-operated self-closing type having a pressure chamber (46) connected to a pilot conduit (52) controlled by a solenoid valve (50) of the non-latching type. A pressure control valve (48) is disposed between the pressure chamber (46) and the solenoid valve (50) for limiting the static water pressure applied to the solenoid valve (50) when the solenoid valve is closed. The provision for the pressure control valve (48) enables considerable reduction in the power consumption required to lift a solenoid valve plunger against the action of the static hydraulic pressure. Once the plunger is lifted, the non-latching type solenoid valve is energized with a reduced electric current sufficient to hold the valve in its open position. In total, energy consumption per cycle of operation is reduced. Use of the non-latching type solenoid valve permits to avoid malfunction inherently involved in the solenoid valves of the latching type. Various other embodiments are also disclosed.

A hand-held shower unit (12; 250; 504; 540) is disclosed which comprises a rotatable shower head (94) provided with a plurality of spray heads (132; 134; 136; 138) having different spray or water delivery characteristics. The rotatable head (94) is mounted on a shaft (122) driven by a micromotor (190) received in an inner cavity (64) which is formed in a handle casing (52; 252) by offsetting a water conduit (58). Upon pressing a control button (200), the rotatable head (94) is rotated such that water is delivered through selected one of the spray heads (132; 134; 136; 138). To establish a fluid tight seal between the rotary head (94) and the water conduit (58) while avoiding frictional contact therebetween in order to reduce the torque required for the micromotor (190) to rotate the head (94), a water pressure-responsive movable sealing member (104; 260) is arranged. Also disclosed is a shower bath system (10; 500) including in combination the hand-held shower unit ( 12; 250; 504; 540). An automatic faucet is also disclosed which is capable of automatically varying the water delivery patterns. Various other embodiments and method of use are also disclosed.
