A fan assembly for a refrigerator interior includes a lower housing where a fan that rotates around a rotation axis as a center is installed, the rotation axis extending in an up-down direction; an upper housing that includes an inlet that sucks air from the refrigerator interior; and a side housing that covers a surrounding portion of the fan, wherein any one of the upper housing, the lower housing, and the side housing includes a flow straightening member that straightens a flow of air that is discharged from the fan, and wherein any one of the upper housing, the lower housing, and the side housing includes a discharge port.

Fan assembly

An air blowing device includes a motor, a ring-shaped cover, an impeller, and an impeller housing. The impeller includes a base portion and moving blades. The impeller housing includes an exhaust air guide portion. The ring-shaped cover includes a ring-shaped cover upper face portion and a ring-shaped cover outer edge portion having faces disposed across a gap that configures a flow path through which a fluid is guided. The gap has a first width where a distance between the faces is shortest, and which is smaller than a flow-in opening width where the fluid flows into the gap and a flow-out opening width where the fluid flows out.

Air blowing device and vacuum cleaner

A fan device includes an impeller rotating around a central axis and a motor disposed farther downward than the impeller. The impeller includes a base unit enlarged downward and plural blades disposed on a peripheral surface of the base unit. Upper portions of the blades are positioned at a leading end of a rotating direction with respect to lower portions. In an outer end portion on a front surface of each blade at the leading end of the rotating direction, a radial-direction component of a normal unit vector of an upper end portion of the blade is smaller than that of a lower end portion, assuming that an outer peripheral side of the blade is a positive direction. A thickness of a root of the lower end portion is larger than that of the upper end portion.

Fan device and vacuum cleaner including the same

An impeller includes a disk-shaped portion and rotor blades. The rotor blades include first rotor blades which includes a first curvature portion and second curvature portions. A center of a radius of curvature of the first curvature portion is on a first side. A center of a radius of curvature of each second curvature portion is on a second side. The radius of curvature of the second curvature portion radially outward is greater than the radius of curvature of the second curvature portion radially inward. The rotor blades include second rotor blades each of which is circumferentially between adjacent ones of the first rotor blades. Each second rotor blade includes third curvature portions. A center of a radius of curvature is on the second side. The radius of curvature of the third curvature portion radially outward is greater than the radius of curvature of the third curvature portion radially inward.

Impeller and blower

A blower apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a motor including a shaft arranged to extend along a central axis extending in a vertical direction, and a bearing arranged to rotatably support the shaft; an impeller coupled to the shaft on an upper end side of the shaft; an impeller housing arranged to house the impeller, and including an air inlet on an upper side; a plurality of stationary vanes arranged on a lower side of the impeller housing; a cylindrical first ring arranged radially inside of the stationary vanes; and a cylindrical second ring arranged radially outside of the stationary vanes, and fixed to the impeller housing. The stationary vanes, the first ring, and the second ring are defined by a single monolithic member, and together define at least a portion of a stationary vane support portion.

Blower apparatus and vacuum cleaner

A blower apparatus includes a motor portion having a central axis extending in a vertical direction; an impeller arranged above the motor portion, joined to a rotating portion of the motor portion, and arranged to rotate to send a gas from above radially outward; an impeller cover portion including an inner surface arranged to cover an outer circumference of the impeller and an upper side of an outer edge portion of the impeller, and further including an air inlet defined in a center thereof; a body cover portion joined to the impeller cover portion, arranged to cover an outer circumference of the motor portion, and arranged to define a tubular space between the body cover portion and a housing tubular portion defining an outer surface of the motor portion and extending in the vertical direction to assume a tubular shape; and a plurality of guide vanes arranged in a circumferential direction in the tubular space, and each of which is arranged to extend in a radial direction between an inner surface of the body cover portion and the housing tubular portion. Each of the guide vanes includes a guide vane upper portion arranged on an upper side, and a guide vane lower portion arranged on a lower side of the guide vane upper portion. The guide vane upper portion is inclined to a greater degree with respect to an axial direction than the guide vane lower portion. A lower end of the guide vane is arranged forward of an upper end of the guide vane with respect to a rotation direction of the impeller. The lower end of at least one of the guide vanes is arranged above a lower end of the housing tubular portion.

A blower apparatus includes a motor portion having a central axis extending in a vertical direction; an impeller arranged above the motor portion, joined to a rotating portion of the motor portion, and arranged to rotate to send a gas from above radially outward; an impeller cover portion including an inner surface arranged to cover an outer circumference of the impeller and an upper side of an outer edge portion of the impeller, and further including an air inlet defined in a center thereof; and a body cover portion joined to the impeller cover portion, arranged to cover an outer circumferential surface of the motor portion, and arranged to define a tubular space between the motor portion and the body cover portion. The tubular space includes an upper region and a lower region arranged below the upper region. A radial distance between the outer circumferential surface of the motor portion and an inner circumferential surface of the body cover portion is arranged to continuously decrease with decreasing height in the upper region, and continuously increase with decreasing height in the lower region. The radial distance is arranged to be greater at an upper end of the upper region than at a lower end of the lower region.

A ceiling fan blade, which is rotated by a motor unit having a center axis extending in an up-down direction, includes a blade body extending in a radial direction and including at least one slit opened at a rotation direction rear edge of the blade body. On a circumferential cross section including a rotation direction front end of the slit of the blade body, a lower end of a rotation direction front edge of the blade body is positioned at a center axis direction upper side of a lower end of the rotation direction front end of the slit. Further, a lower end of an open end of a radial outer edge of the slit is positioned axially downward of the lower end of the rotation direction front end of the slit and is positioned axially upward of a lower end of an open end of a radial inner edge of the slit.

Ceiling fan blade

An impeller is arranged to rotate about a central axis, and includes a disk-shaped portion arranged to extend radially with respect to the central axis, and a plurality of rotor blades arranged along a circumferential direction on one surface of the disk-shaped portion. Each rotor blade has one end arranged at an outer edge portion of the disk-shaped portion, and an opposite end arranged radially inward of the outer edge portion of the disk-shaped portion. The rotor blades include a plurality of first rotor blades each of which includes a first curvature portion and a plurality of second curvature portions. A center of the radius of curvature of the first curvature portion of each first rotor blade is arranged on a first side of the first rotor blade with respect to the circumferential direction. A center of the radius of curvature of each second curvature portion of each first rotor blade is arranged on a second side of the first rotor blade with respect to the circumferential direction. The first curvature portion is arranged radially inward of each second curvature portion. Regarding adjacent ones of the second curvature portions, the radius of curvature of the second curvature portion arranged radially outward is greater than the radius of curvature of the second curvature portion arranged radially inward.

An electric blower includes a centrifugal impeller, a diffuser including stationary vanes on a discharge side of the centrifugal impeller, a motor configured to drive the centrifugal impeller, a fan case configured to cover the centrifugal impeller and the diffuser, a housing case joined to the fan case, and return guide vanes that guide air which has been guided by the stationary vanes to an inner surface of the fan case radially inward through a space under the diffuser. The housing case includes an annular lower plate portion located axially below the diffuser. Each return guide vane is continuous with an upper surface of the annular lower plate portion. An upper end of each return guide vane is located axially opposite to the diffuser.
