A conductor forming apparatus that forms a wave winding coil group by folding a conductor, in which the conductor forming apparatus includes: a folding jig that is arranged on an inside of a folding direction of the conductor, the folding jig including a support plate with a tip serving as a starting point for folding the conductor, and a plurality of guide protrusions arranged on a side of the tip of the support plate so as to hold the conductor before folding from both sides in a width direction, the plurality of guide protrusions each including a guide surface that can guide a folding operation of the conductor from the start of folding.

Conductor forming apparatus and conductor forming method

A heating apparatus () includes a high frequency power supply (), a left conductive plate (), a right conductive plate (), a left heating coil (), and a right heating coil (). The left heating coil () includes a left conductor portion (). The left conductor portion () faces a gear tooth () of a helical gear () and extends in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the gear tooth () extends. The left heating coil () includes a focusing magnetic body () which focuses magnetic flux in the left conductor portion () and concentrates the magnetic flux on a surface of the gear tooth (). The left heating coil () includes an upper inducing magnetic body () which induces a part of the magnetic flux flowing in a tooth root of the gear tooth () into a tooth tip of the gear tooth ().

Heating coil

An electromagnetic coil is formed by winding a wire around a winding member of an insulator. The winding member is configured with a substantially polygonal shape. Further, in a winding step of winding the wire, which is supplied from a wire supply unit, around the winding member, when the wire reaches a corner portion of the winding member, a residual stress toward an outer side in the diametrical direction of the stator is imparted to the wire. Thereafter, portions of the insulative coating of the wire are subjected to fusion bonding.

Method of manufacturing divided cores for a stator

A stator () includes a plurality of divided cores () arranged in circumferential direction to constitute a stator core (), and a holder (). Stator coils () are wound around the individual divided cores (). The divided core () includes a tooth part (), and an insulator () around which the stator coil () is wound. A plurality of projection portions () are formed in the stator coil () when the stator coil () is wound around the insulator (). The projection portions () are wound on only short sides of the insulator (), resulting that the stator coil () does not protrude from the long sides of the divided core (), and when the divided cores () are arranged in the circumferential direction to constitute the stator (), the stator () is normally driven without the stator coils () of the neighboring divided cores () contacting each other.
