A capacity control valve for increasing the ability to drain liquid refrigerant from a control chamber during startup of a variable-capacity compressor without changing the control valve characteristics has a spring acting in the direction of valve opening provided between an adapter and a free end of a pressure-sensitive body in the extension and contraction direction thereof and having an annular seat surface, and a third valve part having an annular engaging surface for opening and closing a suction-side passage by engaging and disengaging with the seat surface of the adapter.

Capacity control valve

A capacity control valve for a variable-capacity compressor such as used in an air-conditioning system in a motor vehicle is provided, wherein foreign matter is prevented from being caught in the sliding parts and leakage on the sliding parts is prevented from occurring by configuring the capacity control valve so that there are no sliding parts between the valving element and the housing (valve body). The valve includes a bellows-type valve that includes a bellows and a fixing bracket joined in an airtight manner to an end of the bellows. The fixing bracket is fixed in an airtight manner to a valve body between a first valve chamber and a suction port.

A capacity control valve capable of enhancing the function of discharging liquid refrigerant in a control chamber during startup of a variable capacity compressor, and improving the control speed of a swash plate during control is provided. The valve has an adapter that has an annular bearing surface and is provided to a free end of a pressure-sensitive body in the elongation and constriction direction, and a valve body for discharging liquid refrigerant, moveably provided inside the adapter. A slit is provided to an engaging part of the adapter with a third valve part, and an introduction hole for causing the control chamber pressure to act on a bottom surface of the valve body for discharging the liquid refrigerant is provided to the base part side, and an urging force is provided whereby the valve body for discharging the liquid refrigerant is urged in a valve-opening direction away from the third valve part.

Volume control valve

A displacement control valve for a variable displacement compressor. The displacement control valve includes a drive force transmission body, a pressure sensitive chamber, an internal passage, and a valve body. The valve body includes an annular seal which is contactable with a valve seat surface facing toward the first valve body. The drive force transmission body includes a drive rod and a valve body structure having a shaft passage and forming the first valve body. The drive rod is fitted to the shaft passage and coupled to the valve body structure so as to form a gap passage between an outer surface of the drive rod and a wall surface of the shaft passage. The internal passage includes a recess arranged radially inward from the annular seal, the shaft passage, and the gap passage. The gap passage is in direct communication with the recess.

Displacement control valve

A capacity control valve includes a valve body having a first valve portion for opening/closing a discharge-side path and a second valve portion for opening/closing a suction-side path, a pressure sensitive body arranged in a third valve chamber in the middle of the suction-side path, a valve seat body provided at the pressure sensitive body, and a third valve portion connected to the valve body for opening/closing the suction-side path by engagement and disengagement with the valve seat body. One of an engagement face of the third valve portion and a seat face of the valve seat body is formed into a spherical shape with a radius of curvature R satisfying 9 mm&#x3c;R&#x3c;11 mm and the other of the engagement face of the third valve portion and the seat face of the valve seat body is formed into a tapered surface shape having a center angle &#x3b1; satisfying 120&#xb0;&#x3c;&#x3b1;&#x3c;160&#xb0;. As such, a liquid refrigerant or the like accumulating in the control chamber can be discharged efficiently, and predetermined capacity control can be carried out rapidly.

A seal structure sealing a fitted part between the guide surface of a bearing part and a shaft part to prevent a fluid from flowing in a direction from a high-pressure fluid side to a low-pressure fluid side. The seal structure comprises a seal ring storage part having a radial contact surface surrounding the shaft part which is formed on the high-pressure fluid side of the bearing part and a seal ring disposed in the seal ring storage part, allowing its side surface facing the contact surface to come into contact with the contact surface, and allowing its inner peripheral surface to be fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft part. The seal ring is formed in such a relative dimension that, even if elastically deformed by the pressure of the sealed fluid, the elastically deformed expanded portion thereof is not brought into contact with the peripheral surface of the seal ring storage part.

Seal structure and control valve using said seal structure

A selector valve, comprising a valve chamber having a first valve seat and a second valve seat facing the first valve seat, a first fluid passage communicating with a first valve port on the periphery of the first valve seat of the valve chamber to flow a first working fluid therein, a second fluid passage communicating with the valve chamber to flow the working fluid therefrom or therein, a third fluid passage communicating with a second valve port on the periphery of the second valve seat of the valve chamber to flow the working fluid therefrom, a valve element disposed in the valve chamber and alternately separating from and coming into contact with the first valve seat and the second valve seat, a stem part connected to the valve element, a guide hole movably guiding the valve stem, a storage chamber for a seal means installed around the guide hole, an auxiliary passage allowing the storage chamber to communicate with the first fluid passage, and a solenoid part connected to the stem part for operating a solenoid rod. A first pressure receiving area formed by the first valve seat and the valve element joined to each other to receive the pressure of the first working fluid is set approximately the same as the third pressure receiving area of the stem part receiving the first working fluid in the storage chamber.

Switching valve

A capacity control valve, comprising a first valve chamber formed in a valve body, a first fluid passage communicating with the first valve chamber to flow a fluid with a discharge pressure therein, a valve seat formed around a valve port between the first valve chamber and the first fluid passage, a second fluid passage communicating with the first valve chamber to flow the fluid with the discharge pressure therefrom, a second valve chamber communicating with the first valve chamber through a guide hole, a third fluid passage communicating with the second valve chamber to flow the fluid with a suction pressure therein and therefrom, a valve element disposed in the first valve chamber and having a valve part separated from and brought into contact with the valve seat to flow the fluid with the discharge pressure therein and a stem part movably fitted to the guide hole, and a solenoid having a solenoid rod connected to the connection face of the valve element and moving the solenoid rod with a current, A discharge pressure receiving area in a connection surface between the valve part and the valve seat is set larger than the pressure receiving area of the stem part.

Flow control valve

A displacement control valve () is connected to a variable displacement compressor. An open passage () in which a refrigerant gas flows is formed within a rod () and a valve body () of the displacement control valve (). Displacement control valve of variable displacement compressor

A capacity control valve has a communication path () for communicating a discharge chamber () and a control chamber (); one valve chamber () in the middle of the communication path (); communication paths () for communicating a suction chamber () and the control chamber (); the other valve chamber () in the middle of the communication path (); a valve body () including a first valve section () that opens and closes the communication path () and a second valve section () that opens and closes the communication path (), the first and second valve sections being placed in the valve chamber () and performing the opening and closing operation in a manner opposite to each other; and a solenoid () for moving the valve body (). The pressure receiving area Sof the pressure receiving section () is substantially the same as the difference between the pressure receiving area Sof the second valve section () and the pressure receiving area Sof the first valve section. The valve is reduced in size, an influence of the pressure in the control chamber is minimized, and stable capacity control with excellent response is enabled.
