A mist blower in one aspect of the present disclosure includes an air blower, an air feed pipe, a tank, a liquid feed pipe, a nozzle, a first electromagnetic valve, a controller, and a first manual switch. The first electromagnetic valve (i) opens the liquid feed pipe in response to the first electromagnetic valve being activated and (ii) closes the liquid feed pipe in response to the first electromagnetic valve being deactivated. The controller activates or deactivates the air blower and the first electromagnetic valve. The first manual switch (i) is manually moved by a user of the mist blower and (ii) commands the controller to activate or deactivate the air blower based on a movement of the first manual switch.

Mist blower

A blower may include an inlet, an outlet, an airflow pipe disposed between the inlet and the outlet, a fan disposed in the airflow pipe, an electric motor disposed in the airflow pipe and configured to drive the fan, a motor housing that is disposed in the airflow pipe and houses the electric motor, and a control unit configured to control the electric motor. The control unit includes a control board configured to control the electric motor and a casing that houses the control board. The airflow pipe may include an exposure hole connecting inside of the airflow pipe to outside of the airflow pipe such that the inside and the outside are in communication in a radial direction. The casing may be attached to the airflow pipe such that at least part of the casing covers an entirety of the exposure hole from outside in the radial direction.

Blower

A blower reduces debris blown toward an operator when air is jetted from a distal end of a blower pipe. A blower includes a blower body and a blower pipe. The blower body includes an impeller drivable to rotate by a prime mover, and a casing accommodating the impeller. The casing includes an air inlet and an air outlet. The blower pipe includes a basal end coupled to the air outlet, a distal end from which air ejected through the air outlet is jetted, and a peripheral wall having one or more openings.

A blower may include a motor; a centrifugal fan configured to rotate with rotation of the motor; a casing configured to guide air from a suction port to a discharge port; a trigger configured to be pressed; and a control board configured to control rotation of the motor. The control board may include a normal mode and a low speed mode. In the normal mode, the control board may be configured to adjust a rotation speed of the motor in accordance with a degree by which the trigger is pressed. In the low speed mode, the control board may be configured to adjust the rotation speed of the motor to a target rotation speed, wherein the target rotation speed is lower than a maximum rotation speed of the motor that is achieved when the degree by which the trigger is pressed is a maximum degree in the normal mode.
