An image signal processing device receives image signals from source devices and outputs image signals via a plurality of communication paths. The image signal processing device includes a plurality of compression circuits, a transmission circuit and a path/compression-rate setting circuit. The plurality of compression circuits compress image signals to be transmitted via the plurality of communication paths. The transmission circuit outputs the image signals compressed. The path/compression-rate setting circuit, based on each data amount of the image signals received, determines a communication path for transmitting a part or the whole of each of the image signal, and sets a common compression rate for all of the plurality of compression circuits. The path/compression-rate setting circuit divides an image signal having a relatively large data amount, and assigns a part of the divided image signal to a communication path for transmitting an image signal having a relatively small data amount.

Image signal processing device, and image signal transmission system

Image display systemcomprises: a plurality of display devices; an image processing unit for receiving input of a plurality of input video signals and generating an output video signal for each display device in accordance with a layout for the display devices from the input video signals; a pattern signal generation unit for generating pattern signals indicating a plurality of different test pattern images; a selector for receiving input of the output video signals and the pattern signals and selecting and outputting either the output video signals or the pattern signals; imaging devicefor capturing an image of the test pattern images displayed on the respective display devices; and a control devicefor analyzing the captured image captured by the imaging device and generating control information for controlling the image processing unit, based on analysis results.

Image display system

The projection image display apparatus includes a display element that emits image light generated by modulating light from a light source based, a pixel-shifter that shifts a pixel of a projected image by changing an optical path of the image light, a resampling circuit, a motion-interpolation image processing circuit, and a pixel-shift controller. The resampling circuit generates a plurality of sub-frame image signals having a resolution of the display element, by resampling an image signal having a resolution of the projected image. The motion-interpolation image processing circuit provides a motion-interpolation image process to the sub-frame image signals. The pixel-shift controller receives the sub-frame image signals having undergone the motion-interpolation image process. The pixel-shift controller drives the display element and the pixel shifter at a given timing based on the sub-frame image having undergone the motion-interpolation image process, and then displays the projected image, which involves pixel-shift, on a screen.

Projection image display apparatus

The optical path changing device of the present disclosure includes an optical member having a parallel plate face for changing an optical path, and first, second, and third actuators. The first, the second, and the third actuators are connected with the optical member at first, second, and third vertices of a triangle imaginarily drawn on a plane parallel to the parallel plate face of the optical member. The first, the second, and the third actuators drive the optical member forward and backward in a normal direction of the parallel plate face at the first, the second, and the third vertices serving as points of load. The optical member has a center of gravity within the triangle when seen from the normal direction.
