To obtain a hydraulic pressure control unit that can be downsized. A hydraulic pressure control unit () for a brake system mounted to a straddle-type vehicle includes: a coil unit () used to open/close a channel of a brake fluid; a housing () that accommodates the coil unit (); a placement table () held by the housing (); and a base body () having an upper surface () to which the coil unit () and the housing () are connected. The placement table () is configured that at least a part thereof is arranged below a portion of a coil housing () of the coil unit () and that, in a state before the coil unit () and the housing () are connected to the base body (), a support section () supports the portion of the coil housing () from below.
