A 90-degree hybrid circuit includes a dielectric substrate, a first conductor that includes a conductor pattern formed on the dielectric substrate and electrically conducts between a first port and a second port, a second conductor that includes a conductor pattern formed on the dielectric substrate and electrically conducts between a third port and a fourth port, and a coupled line comprising a portion of the first conductor and a portion of the second conductor that face each other on front and back sides of the dielectric substrate. A first coupled line portion as the portion of the first conductor includes a coplanar line with first ground patterns formed to sandwich the first coupled line portion from both sides. A second coupled line portion as the portion of the second conductor includes a coplanar line with second ground patterns formed to sandwich the second coupled line portion from both sides.

90-degree hybrid circuit

A phase shifter includes a signal conductor constituting a transmission line for a signal transmitted through an antenna element, a dielectric plate including a dielectric material disposed to face to the signal conductor, and a mobile mechanism for moving the dielectric plate. A facing area between the signal conductor and the dielectric plate is changed by a movement of the dielectric plate, to change a phase of the signal transmitted through the signal conductor. The dielectric plate includes a transformer unit for impedance matching between an overlapped portion in which the signal conductor faces to the dielectric plate and a non-overlapped portion in which the signal conductor does not face to the dielectric plate. The signal conductor includes an input-side signal conductor which extends from the non-overlapped portion to the overlapped portion via the transformer unit, and an output-side signal conductor which is electrically connected to an end of the input-side signal conductor on a side of the overlapped portion and extends from the overlapped portion to the non-overlapped portion without any intervention of the transformer unit.

The antenna device includes a signal line that distributes input signals. The signal line includes a substrate, a pair of ground conductors opposite each other such as to sandwich the substrate, a first front side pattern and a second front side pattern formed on a front side of the substrate, and a first back side pattern and a second back side pattern formed on a back side of the substrate. While the first front side pattern is split, the second front side pattern is not split, and while the second back side pattern is split, the first back side pattern is not split. Parts of the split first front side pattern are conductive to each other via the first back side pattern, and parts of the split second back side pattern are conductive to each other via the second front side pattern.

Antenna device

The present invention provides a collision in right/left turn prevention system which can automatically stop a vehicle even when a driver of the vehicle can not correctly grasp a course of a vehicle running in the counter direction because of the road line form or because the counter vehicle is hid behind other vehicles, or when a velocity of the counter vehicle is faster than that estimated by the driver. This system comprises a vehicle running in the counter direction detection means; road surface conditions detection means; database means; vehicle position detection means; vehicles state detection means; determination processing means for selecting any of provision of information to the driver, generation of an alarm, and provision of controls over the vehicle based on information concerning vehicles from the vehicle running in the counter direction detection means, information concerning road line forms from the database means, information concerning a position of the vehicle from the vehicle position detection means, and other information concerning the vehicle itself from the vehicle state detection means, an information output section for providing information or generating an alarm to the driver, and vehicle control means for automatically controlling the vehicle.

Collision in right/left turn prevention system

A system-enabled vehicle entering a crossing warns a driver of the vehicle that a possibility of bumping exists, thereby allowing the driver to brake and stop the vehicle in an emergency in front of the crossing. When the system determines a possibility of bumping with another vehicle entering the crossing exists, the system continuously provides controls for decelerating and stopping the vehicle in a range from a point where the system can decelerate the vehicle in an emergency with time allowance for stopping the vehicle in front of the crossing up to a point in front of the crossing.

The collision with pedestrian prevention system according to the present invention comprises pedestrian detection means, road surface conditions detection means, road information accumulation means, vehicle position detection means, vehicle state detection means, processing means, information output means, and vehicle control means. Because of the configuration, the driver is alerted the presence of any pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and can immediately correct operations for handling the vehicle without being perplexed by the information just about to finish crossing the road. This system works only when there is the possibility of collision between a pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and a vehicle, and provides automatic controls for decelerating or stopping the vehicle when the driver can stop the vehicle by emergently braking over a distance from the vehicle to the pedestrian's crossing.
