The present invention relates to an asphalt composition which is excellent in storage stability at a high temperature, an asphalt mixture, a method for producing the same, and a road paving method. Provided are [1] an asphalt composition containing asphalt, a polyester resin, and a dispersant; [2] an asphalt mixture containing the asphalt composition as set forth above in [1] and an aggregate; [3] a road paving method including a step of laying the asphalt mixture as set forth above in [2], thereby forming an asphalt paving material layer; and [4] a method for producing an asphalt mixture including mixing asphalt, a polyester resin, a dispersant, and an aggregate at 130&#xb0; C. or higher and 200&#xb0; C. or lower.

Asphalt composition

The present invention relates to an asphalt composition having excellent durability after being dried, an asphalt mixture, and a method for producing an asphalt mixture. Disclosed are [1] an asphalt composition containing asphalt, a thermoplastic elastomer, and a polyester, wherein the polyester has a softening point of 90&#xb0; C. or higher and 140&#xb0; C. or lower and a glass transition point of 40&#xb0; C. or higher and 80&#xb0; C. or lower, and a ratio of the polyester is 1 part by mass or more and 17 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the asphalt; [2] an asphalt mixture including the asphalt composition as set forth [1] and an aggregate; and [3] a method for producing an asphalt mixture, including a step of mixing a heated aggregate, asphalt, a thermoplastic elastomer, and a polyester, wherein the polyester has a softening point of 90&#xb0; C. or higher and 140&#xb0; C. or lower and a glass transition point of 40&#xb0; C. or higher and 80&#xb0; C. or lower, and a ratio of the polyester is 1 part by mass or more and 17 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the asphalt.

The present invention relates to a binder composition for making self-hardening foundry molds that is capable of improving the hardening speed of the molds and the strength of the molds, and is excellent in storage stability; and a method for producing a foundry mold, using this composition. The binder composition for making self-hardening foundry molds of the present invention is a binder composition for making self-hardening foundry molds, comprising a furan resin and an ion compound, wherein the ion compound contains at least one anion selected from the group consisting of a hydrogensulfite ion, a sulfite ion, a pyrosulfite ion, a thiosulfate ion, a thionate ion, and a dithionite ion; the content of the anion is from 0.006 to 0.60 parts by weight for 100 parts by weight of the furan resin; and the composition has a pH of 6 or less at 25&#xb0; C.
