A flush toilet bowl comprises a bowl part (1) and a discharge trap (2) formed continuously at the bottom of the bowl part, and the discharge trap (2) further comprises a rising channel (22) extending in the obliquely upward direction from the bottom of the bowl part, a first weir (27) formed at the upper end of the rising channel, a descending channel (23) extending downwardly from the first weir, and a cross-laid channel (24) extending substantially in the horizontal direction from the lower end of the descending channel and having a discharge opening (25) at the end. The cross-laid channel (24) is provided with an upwardly bent second weir (28) between the lower end of the descending channel and the discharge opening, and a gathered water part (29) is formed between the second weir (28) and the lower end of the descending channel and, simultaneously, the descending channel is formed in the vicinity of the lower end thereof with a horizontal part (26) extending horizontally toward the cross-laid channel (24).

A water-closet bowl which comprises a bowl part provided with a wash water delivery opening on the wall surface; a substantially inverted U-type trap water discharge channel formed adjacent to the bottom of the bowl part and communicating with the bowl part through the inflow opening at the bottom; a tank for storing wash water provided at the rear, upper portion of the bowl part and having a discharge opening at the bottom; a wash water-distributing part provided substantially just under the discharge opening of the tank and used for receiving the wash water from the tank and distributing it; a rim water path formed on the periphery at the upper end of the bowl part; a rim part having a plurality of wash water injection holes provided in communication with the rim water path; a first water channel communicating between the wash water-distributing part and the wash water delivery opening; and a second water channel communicating between the wash water-distributing part and the rim water path.

An automatically operating valve for regulating water flow, especially a mixing valve for automatically mixing hot water and cold water to obtain a mixed water of a desired temperature is characterized by employing piezoelectric actuators for operating valve bodies thereof. Due to such a construction, the valve can not only fully close or open but also carries out the fine flow amount control by regulating the opening rate or angle of the valve body. Especially in case the automatically operating valve is a mixing valve, the mixing ratio of hot water and cold water can be accurately regulated so that the mixed water of a desired temperature can be always automatically obtained.
