A magnetic field detection device includes a magnetic field generation unit that generates a magnetic field, a magnetic field detection unit that detects the magnetic field, a first housing that has an accommodation unit that accommodates the magnetic field detection unit so that the magnetic field detection unit is exposed, and a second housing that movably accommodates a moving body. The strength or angle of the magnetic field generated from the magnetic field generation unit and applied to the magnetic field detection unit changes in accordance with movement of the moving body. The second housing has a mounting unit on which the first housing is mounted. The first housing is mounted on the mounting unit via a seal member that surrounds the magnetic field detection unit, so that the mounting unit is between the magnetic field detection unit and the moving body, and the inside of the accommodation unit is sealed by the seal member and the mounting unit.

Magnetic field detection device, magnetic sensor module, magnetic control device, motor and transmission

A magnetic sensor for detecting magnetism generated from a conductor in which a current flows in a first direction includes a magnetic detection unit capable of detecting the magnetism, a magnetization core, and a magnetic shield. The magnetization core includes a first core section, which is substantially parallel to the first direction, and a second core section and third core section, which are each continuous from both end portions of the first core section in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction. The second core section and the third core section each extend from an end portion of the first core section to follow a third direction that is orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction. The magnetic detection unit has a sensitivity direction in the second direction and is positioned in a core gap sandwiched between the vicinity of the end portion of the second core section and the vicinity of the end portion of the third core section in the third direction. The magnetic shield includes a plate-shaped shield portion positioned to overlap the core gap when viewed along the third direction.

Current sensor and electric control device

A current sensor includes a magnetic detector and a first soft magnetic body. The magnetic detector is configured to be subjected to a magnetic flux that is to be generated when a current flows through a conductor along a first axis direction, the magnetic flux being in a second axis direction. The first soft magnetic body includes a first portion, a second portion disposed between the conductor and the first portion, and a third portion magnetically coupling the first portion and the second portion to each other. The first soft magnetic body is spaced from both of the conductor and the magnetic detector, with the first portion, the second portion, and the third portion surrounding the magnetic detector along a first plane orthogonal to the second axis direction.

Current sensor, and electric control apparatus including the current sensor

A current sensor that is less affected by the residual magnetization is provided. A current sensor of the present invention has a magnetic circuit that is magnetized by electric current; a first magnetic field detecting element that is positioned where a magnetic field, when the electric current is present, is directed in a same direction as a magnetic field that is caused by residual magnetization of the magnetic circuit when the electric current is not present; and a second magnetic field detecting element that is positioned where a magnetic field, when the electric current is present, is directed opposite to a direction of a magnetic field that is caused by residual magnetization of the magnetic circuit when the electric current is not present.

Current sensor

Magnetic members are arranged along a straight line and can be placed face-to-face with spin-valve magnetoresistive elements. The magnetic pole faces of the magnetic members which can be face-to-face with the spin-valve magnetoresistive elements have different magnetic polarities from the magnetic pole faces of neighboring magnetic members. The magnetic members are arranged at a uniform pitch. Each magnetic member is spaced from neighboring magnetic members. X/P is from 40% to 60%, where X is length of each magnetic member along an arrangement direction of the magnetic members, and P is pitch of the magnetic members along the arrangement direction.

Magnetic position detector

A magnetostrictive torque sensor comprises a rotary shaft rotating around its center axis and having a magnetostrictive characteristic and a cylindrical ferrite magnetic core disposed at a predetermined distance from the outer periphery of the rotary shaft and coaxially with the rotary shaft and having on its inner peripheral surface a coil serving to detect the strain of the rotary shaft and having an insulating cover. The cylindrical ferrite magnetic core has a pair of opposed coil-forming inner peripheral surfaces defined by dividing the inner peripheral surface into two parts along a plane including the center axis. The coil has, on the respective opposed paired inner peripheral surfaces, a first coil including a going-current coil and a returning-current coil disposed in the same position at an angle of +45&#xb0; to the center axis, adapted to flow a going current and a returning current in the same direction, and connected in series and a second coil including a going-current coil and a returning-current coil disposed in the same position at an angle of &#x2212;45&#xb0; to the center axis, crossing the first coil at right angles, adapted to flow a going current and a returning current in the same direction, and connected in series.

Magnetostrictive torque sensor

A magnetostriction-type torque sensor has a rotating shaft having magnetostrictive properties and first and second coils which each constitute three or more closed loops. For each coil, the closed loop is disposed in a concentric relationship (a concentric circle located on a plane perpendicular to the rotating shaft) with the rotating shaft. Further, the direction of magnetostrictive properties of the rotating shaft detected by the first coil is made different from the direction of magnetostrictive properties of the rotating shaft detected by the second coil.

Torque sensor

An angle-torque sensor has: a torque detection coil that detects a change in state quantity in a mechanism to detect a relative angle made between input axis and output axis of a torsion bar to be twisted by a torque; an angle detection coil that detects a change in state quantity in a mechanism to detect a rotation angle of a reduction axis which rotates with a rotation being transmitted from the input axis or output axis and being reduced by a reduction mechanism; a torque detection circuit that detects the relative angle from the output of the torque detection coil; and an angle detection circuit that detects the rotation angle from the output of the angle detection coil.
