A refrigerator temperature control system is disclosed in which the compressor for compressing a refrigerant is driven selectively at either a normal lower rotation speed or a higher rotational speed and the higher rotational speed is applied only when any of the freezer compartment temperature and the fresh food compartment temperature is not reduced below a predetermined temperature level for at least a predetermined time interval.

Refrigerator temperature control system

A refrigerator has a machine chamber disposed in a bottom part of a refrigerator body, a cover for covering the machine chamber, upper heat discharge passages formed in side edge portions of a rear surface of the refrigerator body, lower heat discharge passages formed in offsetted portions of both sides of the machine chamber cover, and heat discharge ports provided in a wall of each of the lower heat discharge passages for providing a communication between the lower and the upper heat discharge passages. A main condenser of the refrigerator is mounted on a top of the refrigerator body and is covered by a decorative cover.

A temperature control apparatus for use in a refrigerating machine, wherein an a.c. control element and the solenoid coil of a holding type solenoid are connected in series in an a.c. power circuit, the holding type solenoid serving to actuate a damper for opening and closing the outlet for ejecting cooled air into the refrigerating chamber, and also a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature in the refrigerating chamber and a triggering circuit for triggering the a.c. control element are provided in the a.c. power circuit. The triggering circuit supplies a trigger signal to the control electrode of the a.c. control element at a predetermined period in synchronism with the phase of the current from the a.c. power source in response to the output of the temperature sensor, so that the solenoid coil is energized to drive the damper.

Temperature control apparatus for refrigerating machine

A control apparatus having an electronic timer including a plurality of flip-flop circuits connected in multiple stages in cascade. Outputs are taken from different stages of the electronic timer and the separate outputs are utilized to produce individual control timing signals which serve for controlling at least one device in accordance with the timing specific to the individual control timing signals.
