A container including an RFID module is provided that includes a base, and an antenna pattern. The antenna pattern includes a first antenna film and a second antenna film on a first main surface of the base. The RFID module includes an RFIC element, a filter circuit, and first and second electrodes. The filter circuit is configured to transmit a current due to an electromagnetic wave at a natural resonance frequency to the RFIC element. The first and second electrodes are connected to the filter circuit. The first electrode of the RFID module and the first antenna film are electrically connected to each other. The second electrode of the RFID module and the second antenna film are electrically connected to each other. Moreover, a sheet resistance of each of the first antenna film and the second antenna film is 0.5Ω/sq or more.

A container including an RFID module is provided that includes a base, a metal film, and a slit. The base has an insulating property. The metal film is on a first main surface of the base. The slit separates the metal film into a first metal region and a second metal region. The RFID module includes an RFIC element, a filter circuit configured to transmit a current due to an electromagnetic wave at a natural resonance frequency being a communication frequency to the RFIC element, and first and second electrodes to be connected to the filter circuit. The first electrode of the RFID module and the first metal region of the metal film are electrically connected to each other. The second electrode of the RFID module and the second metal region of the metal film are electrically connected to each other.

Container including RFID module

A container is provided that includes an RFID module, and further includes an insulating base material that forms an outer shape of the container; a metal film formed on a first main surface of the insulating base material; and a slit formed in the metal film. Moreover, the RFID module includes an RFIC element, a filter circuit that transmits a current caused by an electromagnetic wave at a unique resonance frequency serving as a communication frequency to the RFIC element, and first and second electrodes connected to the filter circuit. The metal film is formed to wrap around an outer periphery of the container in a direction intersecting the slit, and the first and second electrodes of the RFID module are electrically connected to the metal film across the slit formed between the first electrode and the second electrode.

An attachable booster antenna attachable to a coil antenna, includes a body; and an antenna including a multiple resonant antennas arrayed on the body, with each resonant antenna including an insulator layer having first and second surfaces; and first and second loop antennas disposed on the first and second surfaces, respectively, so as to confront each other via the insulator layer. Moreover, the first and second loop antennas each having an opening that discontinue a part of a loop and are arranged such that a closed loop is defined by at least a part of the first loop antenna and at least a part of the second loop antenna in a transparent plane viewed from a normal direction of the insulator layer. Furthermore, in the plan view of the insulator layer, the opening of the first and second loop antennas and the opening of the coil antenna overlap each other.

A sanitary article is equipped with a moisture-detecting RFID tag that includes a moisture-absorptive material; a moisture-detecting RFID tag adjacent to the moisture-absorptive material; and a relay antenna that is connected to the moisture-detecting RFID tag and that extends the communication range by relaying an output of the moisture-detecting RFID tag. Moreover, the moisture-detecting RFID tag includes an RFIC element, and an antenna element that is connected to the RFIC element. The moisture-detecting RFID tag outputs a variation of a communication distance or a signal intensity, originated from a variation of a moisture amount included in the moisture-absorptive material.

An RFID tag includes a booster antenna, a feeding loop, an RFID module, and a sheet-like insulating base. The insulating base includes first and second sides that are opposite to each other. The booster antenna is comprised by one metal wire having one end on the first side of the insulating base and the other end on the second side of the insulating base and includes a first curved portion that reverses a direction of the metal wire extending from the one end and a second curved portion that reverses a direction of the metal wire, which is reversed by the first curved portion, to connect to the other end. Moreover, the RFID module is disposed in a region surrounded by the metal wire including the first curved portion and the second curved portion.

RFID tag and method for manufacturing RFID tag

An auxiliary antenna is provided that enables communication between a small antenna of an RFID tag and an antenna of a reader device without using a small antenna as the antenna of the reader device. The auxiliary antenna is an auxiliary antenna configured to expand a communication range of an antenna of an RFID tag to enable communication between the small antenna included in the RFID tag and an antenna included in a reader device. The auxiliary antenna includes a resonance loop group in which a plurality of resonance loops having a resonance frequency corresponding to a communication frequency is arranged to be coupled through a magnetic field. Moreover, the resonance loop group has an antenna area larger than the antenna area of the antenna of the RFID tag and equivalent to or larger than the antenna area of the antenna of the reader device.

An RFID tag with an RFIC module including a substrate, an RFIC chip disposed on the substrate, and a loop conductor disposed on the substrate and connected to the RFIC chip; and an antenna base material mounted with the RFIC module and including an antenna conductor with a radiating portion radiating radio waves and a coupling portion connected to the radiating portion, for electromagnetic field coupling with the loop conductor. Moreover, the loop conductor includes a first loop pattern formed on a first main surface of the substrate, a second loop pattern formed on a second main surface confronting the first main surface, and an interlayer connection conductor extending through the substrate, for connecting the first and the second loop patterns in series.
