A heat exchanger is provided with a header that has a body section formed in a cylindrical shape and a divider that divides an internal space in the body section. In a state in which the body section and the divider are combined with each other, plate distal end portions of a pair of side plate portions of the divider do not protrude from a pair of respective insertion portions of the body section toward an outside of the body section. The plate distal end portions are deformed in such a state that walls of the plate distal end portions are spread out such that end faces of the plate distal end portions each form a V-shaped groove, and are in engagement with inner walls of the pair of respective insertion portions inside through holes defined by the pair of respective insertion portions.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger has: a heat transfer tube group made up of plural heat transfer tubes each of which has, inside the heat transfer tube, a flow passage through which refrigerant flows; a fin provided on the heat transfer tubes; and a bridging header into which end portions of the heat transfer tubes are inserted and that causes refrigerant to flow between the heat transfer tubes. The bridging header has a base having a flat plate shape. The bridging header also has a corrugated sheet forming, between the corrugated sheet and the base, a header flow passage, through which refrigerant flows. The bridging header also has a covering plate covering the corrugated sheet and pressing the corrugated sheet toward the base.

Heat exchanger and method of manufacturing heat exchanger

A heat exchanger includes: a heat-exchanger core which includes flat fins each having a plurality of cuts arranged on one side of each flat fin and allowing heat transfer tubes to be inserted into the cuts, and which has a recess on the other side of the flat fins; and a heat-exchanger core having protrusions which fits in the recesses. The heat-exchanger core also includes flat fins each of which has a plurality of cuts allowing heat transfer tubes to be inserted into the cuts, and also each of which has protrusions on a side of the fin; and a heat-exchanger core having recesses which allow the protrusions to fit in the recesses.

Heat exchanger and air-conditioning apparatus

A heat exchanger includes plural flat tubes each having a flat cross section, and plural flat-tube U-bends each having a flat cross section and a U-shape in external appearance. Plural flat-tube columns each made up of the plural flat tubes installed in plural tiers in a set direction are arranged in a direction intersecting the set direction and in a staggered manner. Each of the plural flat-tube U-bends is placed in a pair of coupling portions of the plural flat tubes. Each of the pair of coupling portions is placed in one of a pair of the plural flat-tube columns. The plural flat-tube U-bends are twisted such that major axes of flat cross sections in both end portions of each of the plural flat-tube U-bends are oriented in the same directions as major axes of flat cross sections of the plural flat tubes connected to the both end portions.

Heat exchanger, air-conditioning apparatus including the same, and method of producing flat-tube U-bend

A printed circuit board mounted with a power module having both a plurality of lead terminals for soldering and at least one screw terminal for screwing includes a through hole which receives the lead terminal and is soldered to the lead terminal, and an electrode section provided with a screw hole fastened to the screw terminal via a screw. A groove is formed between the electrode section and the through hole so as to intersect with two common tangents each connecting, to an outer periphery of a land of the through hole, an outer periphery of a contact area of the electrode section which is in contact with a head bearing surface of a screw or a washer.
