A medical control device includes: a light source controller configured to modulate pulsed light by changing a crest value of a pulsed current and emit the pulsed light a plurality of times from the light source in one frame; an imaging controller configured to cause an image sensor to sequentially generate a pixel signal at a specific frame rate; and an image processor configured to use a pixel signal obtained by multiplying the pixel signal for specific one frame from each pixel of a specific horizontal line by a ratio of an amount of exposure of specific pulsed light made in the specific one frame to a total exposure amount obtained by adding each exposure amount of all of the pulsed lights exposing the specific horizontal line within the specific one frame including an illumination period of the specific pulsed light.

An imaging system includes: a light source configured to emit illumination light; an imager configured to store an electric charge corresponding to an amount of received light and read out the stored electric charge as a signal value by using a rolling shutter method; a frequency detector configured to detect a vibrational frequency of a predetermined site of a subject; and an illumination controller configured to control emission of the illumination light during a readout period of the signal value. The illumination controller is configured to set a phase for an emission timing of the illumination light in an exposure period during which the imager stores the electric charge to be an identical phase at the frequency in each frame, and refer to respective phases set in exposure periods of chronologically adjacent frames to set an emission timing of the illumination light in the readout period.

A control device includes: a hardware processor; and a memory, wherein the hardware processor is configured to: control an image sensor configured to generate an image signal by performing imaging sequentially according to predetermined frames; detect a frequency of vocal cord vibration of a subject based on a voice signal; set a pulse width and a light emission cycle for when a light source emits light, based on the frequency and a preset duty cycle; control the light source to emit the pulse light using the pulse width and the light emission cycle in one field period or one frame period of the image sensor in synchronization with the frequency; calculate, based on the light emission cycle or the frequency, a gain amount by which the image signal is to be multiplied; and multiply the image signal by the gain amount.

An endoscope system includes: a light source device for sequentially emitting illumination light of three colors; an image sensor having pixels to perform photoelectric conversion on light from an object irradiated with the illumination light and output image signals; an illumination controller for causing the light source device to emit the illumination light of two colors during a one-line exposure period of the image sensor; and a calculation unit for calculating each color component signal for each horizontal line, based on a relational expression using an output value of a horizontal line, among output values of the image signals in a latest frame, a frame located one frame before the latest frame, and a frame located two frames before the latest frame, using each illumination period per one-line exposure period of each color in each frame, and using each exposure period of each color with respect to the horizontal line.

Endoscope system

A processing device includes a signal processing unit configured to: input first and second pixel signals from an image sensor having pixels for receiving light from a subject illuminated with pulsed light and generating a pixel signal, the first pixel signal being a one-frame signal read at read timing at least a part of which is included in an illumination period of the pulsed light, the second pixel signal being a one-frame signal read after the one frame of the first pixel signal; and generate a one-frame third pixel signal by synthesizing first and second overlap pixel signals, the first overlap pixel signal being defined as the first pixel signal corresponding to an overlap line of the pixels in which the illumination period of the pulsed light is overlapped with the read timing, the second overlap pixel signal being defined as the second pixel signal corresponding to the overlap line.

Processing device, imaging device, and endoscope system

A communication system includes: a first signal line; a second signal line; a first signal line selection portion and a second signal line selection portion for selecting either one of the first signal line and the second signal line so as to be effective as the serial data; and a signal control portion for outputting a signal direction switching signal for controlling a selecting operation. The first signal line selection portion includes a first OR circuit and a first three-state buffer circuit provided on the first signal line, and a first buffer provided on the second signal line, and the second signal line selection portion includes a second OR circuit and a second three-state buffer circuit provided on the second signal line, a second buffer provided on the first signal line, and an inverter circuit provided between a terminal of the signal control portion and the second OR circuit.

A light source system includes an endoscope having an illumination section and an illumination control section connected to the endoscope and provided with a drive circuit that generates drive pulses for driving the light source, the light source system including: a type information generating section that generates type information regarding the endoscope; a signal generating section generates a signal indicative of a duty ratio of the drive pulses which is permitted to the illumination section; a light adjusting section that outputs light-adjusted drive pulses having a duty ratio not greater than a permissible duty ratio based on the type information and a limiting section that limits the light-adjusted drive pulses to have a duty ratio not greater than a duty ratio based on the signal from the signal generating section, and provides limited pulses to the drive circuit.

Light source system

An endoscope system has an image pickup section and a processor. The image pickup section has a control register section which controls a sensor section, a nonvolatile memory which stores first setup data, a control signal interface section which sets the first setup data in the control register section, and an initialization check register which senses an abnormality in the control register section. When an abnormality is sensed, the control signal interface section reads out the setup data from the nonvolatile memory and performs control so as to reset the setup data in the control register section. The control signal interface section further has a memory which stores reset occurrence information upon occurrence of reset. The processor includes a control section which reads out the reset occurrence information from the memory, and, when reset is detected, transmits second setup information held by the processor to the image pickup section.

An endoscope assembly communicates with a data processing unit by radio waves. The endoscope assembly includes operation switches, which is configured to be operated by an operator, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to enable the operation switches to function as switches for setting wireless communication when connection for wireless communication with the data processing unit is not established. Further, the control unit is configured to enable the operation switches to function as switches for inherent operations including at least an image acquisition operation when connection for wireless communication with the data processing unit is established.

Endoscope assembly

A wireless communication terminal that performs wireless communication with other terminal includes an information holding unit that holds a communication channel setting of the wireless communication and information of a communication attribute of the wireless communication, a communication unit that receives the information of the communication attribute held by the other terminal from the other terminal by wireless communication using a communication channel that the communication channel setting held by the information holding unit represents before a logical connection of the wireless communication with the other terminal is established, and a control unit that controls the establishment process of the logical connection with the other terminal based on the information of the communication attribute received by the communication unit.

Wireless communication terminal

A battery management system includes a battery attached with an identification ID; and a plurality of chargers for reading the identification ID attached to the battery, the chargers associating the read identification ID with information indicative of an end of charging the battery and sending the information, the chargers charging the battery. The battery management system also includes a management server connected to each of the chargers for receiving the information indicative of the end of charging the battery associated with the identification ID and sent from each of the chargers. The management server cumulatively sums, as the number of chargings, the number of receptions of the information indicative of the end of charging the battery for each identification ID, and the management server associates the identification ID with the cumulatively summed number of chargings and allows the number of chargings to be recorded.
