A blocking mechanism of a privacy protection shutter for a camera is provided on an outer edge portion of a display of an electronic device. The privacy protection shutter includes a rotation pivot with which the privacy protection shutter is rotatable; a blocking portion that covers a lens of the camera to disable the camera to image at a block position; and an operation portion configured to cause the privacy protection shutter to rotate with the rotation pivot so as to move the blocking portion between the block position and an open position at which the lens is not covered by the blocking portion.

An electronic apparatus includes: a first antenna board having a plate shape and extending with a first length; a second antenna board having a plate shape and extending with a second length; and a rectangular parallelepiped upper casing for accommodating the first antenna board and the second antenna board. The first antenna board and the second antenna board are arranged such that a longitudinal direction of the first antenna board and a longitudinal direction of the second antenna board are parallel to one side of one main surface of the rectangular parallelepiped upper casing. The first antenna board and the second antenna board are arranged parallel to each other.

A tablet computer (an example of an electronic device) includes a housing that contains an electric component, the housing including a fixed cover and a movable cover that constitute adjacent regions of a back surface of the housing, a hinge shaft that is disposed between a front edge of the fixed cover and a back edge of the movable cover that are adjacent to each other and supports the movable cover, and a first attachment plate that supports the movable cover rotatably about the back edge. The first attachment plate is movably attached to an inner chassis to which the fixed cover is fixed such that the hinge shaft is movable away from the front edge of the fixed cover.

Electronic device

An electronic device in a first aspect includes: a housing comprising metal that houses an electronic component; a cover comprising resin that covers at least a part of a principal surface of the housing from an outside; and a screw screwed into the housing via a through-hole provided at the cover and, the screw having a head that protrudes to the outside from the cover. A larger-diameter part having a diameter larger than a diameter of a screw part is provided on a head side of the screw. A larger-diameter step-down part that fits the larger-diameter part is provided on the principal surface of the housing.

Holder for a portable computer

An electronic device of the present disclosure includes a first housing, a second housing, and a hinge part for connecting the first housing and the second housing. The first housing has a first primary surface at which an input unit is disposed, and a second primary surface opposite to the first primary surface. The second housing has a third primary surface provided with a display unit, and a fourth primary surface opposite to the third primary surface. The hinge part connects the first and second housings so that an angle formed by the first and third primary surfaces is capable of 360 degrees of change. The electronic device has a first configuration in which the first and third primary surfaces face each other to form an angle of substantially 0 degrees, and a second configuration in which the second and fourth primary surfaces face each other and the first and third primary surfaces are substantially parallel. At least one of the housings is shaped so that in the second configuration, a first clearance formed between the second and fourth primary surfaces increases in size in a substantially linear manner in a direction away from the hinge parts.

There is provided a display device comprising: a plate-type display section with a display surface; a front-surface plate placed on a front surface of the display surface; and a supporting portion for supporting the display section and the front-surface plate. The supporting portion includes a first surface adapted to support the front-surface plate, and a second surface which is formed in such a way as to rise up substantially vertically from the first surface such that the second surface faces a side surface of the display portion and, further, includes at least a rising base end portion thereof.

A casing, a lid componentfor covering a terminaldisposed in an opening of the casing, and a water sealing componentdisposed around the terminal, are provided. The lid componentis structured such that a support portionof a fixing portionis rotatably fixed to the casing, and a slidable portionslides relative to a lid portion. Thus, a projectionis engaged with a recess, and a pair of engagement portionsengages with a pair of fixed projections. Thus, the lid componentengages with the casingin three directions, and is held by being pressed against the water sealing component. With this structure, an electronic device having a lid component which can be assuredly locked is obtained.

A casing, a terminal platethat is exchangeably mountable in an openingformed in the casing; and a water sealing componentdisposed around a terminalformed on the terminal plate, are provided. A flangeis formed inside the openingso as to surround a center of the opening and project toward the center of the opening. When the terminal plateis mounted on the flange, an outer side surface of the terminal plateis flush with a surfaceof the casing in a portion where the opening is formed. With this structure, an electronic device can be obtained that is reliably waterproof and/or dustproof in a connection terminal portion that is exchangeable so as to enhance an expandability.

A main device includes fixing portions that fix a holding device to one principal surface thereof and project from the one principal surface. An extension device includes a placement portion on which the main device is placed and a wall portion on which the placement portion is provided in a standing manner. The wall portion that faces the one principal surface, to which the holding device is fixed, in a parallel relation, has such a shape as to not interfere with the fixing portions that fix the holding device of the main device, when the main device is placed on the placement portion. The main device can be mounted on the extension device with the holding device mounted thereon, and time and effort to remove the holding device can be saved when the main device is mounted on the extension device.
