A charge-discharge control device () charges and discharges power storage devices () through control of a converter () by a controller () and through control of a converter () by a controller (). When the charge-discharge control device () acquires no warming-up operation command, the charge-discharge control device () charges the power storage devices (). When the charge-discharge control device () acquires a warming-up operation command, the charge-discharge control device () repeats warming-up operation to discharge one of the power storage devices () and charge the other of the power storage devices () using the discharged power so that the power storage devices () alternately discharge.

Charge-discharge control device

A control device includes a gate-signal generating unit that outputs a gate signal to an inverter circuit and a voltage-vector generating unit that generates a voltage command to the gate-signal generating unit on the basis of a torque command PTR from an upper unit, rotating speed FM of an alternating-current electric motor, and a direct-current voltage value EFC applied to the inverter circuit. The voltage-vector generating unit calculates, on basis of a modulation rate, which is a ratio of the direct-current voltage value EFC and a voltage amplitude command in the voltage command, a PWM current distortion rate serving as an index representing a degree of a current harmonic caused by PWM control, generates the voltage amplitude command value on the basis of the calculated PWM current distortion rate, and outputs the voltage amplitude command value to the gate-signal generating unit.

Control device of alternating-current electric motor

A filter device that removes a noise current generated by an inverter includes a first filter capacitor that is provided in parallel to a direct-current unit of the inverter, a first filter reactor that is provided between a high-potential side of the first filter capacitor and an overhead line that is a power supply source of direct-current power, and a series circuit unit in which a fuse serving as a circuit disconnecting unit that is disconnected when a current larger than a rated current flows therein, a second filter reactor serving as an inductance element, and a second filter capacitor serving as a capacitance element are connected in series, where one end of the series circuit unit is connected to a low-potential side of the first filter capacitor and one end of the first filter reactor is connected to the series circuit unit.

A resistance calculation activator determines whether or not an electric car is stopped on the basis of a drive command signal and an external signal, and activates a resistance calculator if a powering command is input as the drive command when it is determined that the electric car is stopped. The activated resistance calculator computes, within a resistance calculation period, a resistance value of an AC motor that produces driving force for the electric car, on the basis of a d-axis voltage command value and a d-axis current value supplied to the AC motor.

A power conversion control device includes a modulation-wave generating unit generating a modulation wave based on output voltage phase angle command and modulation factor, a carrier-wave generating unit that, in a case of non-overmodulation state, generates a triangular wave or saw-tooth wave as the carrier wave, and, in a case of overmodulation state, generates, as the carrier wave, a signal fixed to &#x2212;1 in a first section that is a predetermined range centering on timing corresponding to a peak position of the modulation wave, generates, as the carrier wave, a signal fixed to +1 in a second section obtained by shifting the first section by a half cycle of the modulation wave, and generates, as the carrier wave, a triangular wave or saw-tooth wave in remaining third section, and a comparing unit that compares the carrier wave and the modulation wave and generates a switching signal.

In a controller for an AC electric train capable of power running and regenerative running, and capable of detecting a power failure in an AC overhead wire for supplying AC electric power, a power failure in the AC overhead wire is swiftly and reliably detected. A power failure detector provided in an electric-train control unit includes a specific-frequency-signal calculating unit that extracts a current component corresponding to a specific-frequency set value from a main-transformer output-current detection signal and outputs an extracted signal as a specific-frequency current signal, a subtracter that subtracts the main-transformer output-current detection signal from the specific-frequency current signal and outputs a result of the subtraction as a current deviation, and a power-failure detecting unit that compares the current deviation with a predetermined power-failure-detection set value, and outputs a power-failure detection signal when the current deviation is greater than the power-failure-detection set value.

Controller for AC electric train

The maximum frequency and the minimum frequency are extracted from frequencies corresponding to respective axle speeds. The minimum frequency is subtracted from the maximum frequency to achieve a first frequency deviation, and also the first frequency deviation is input as a primary delay system to achieve a second frequency deviation. Furthermore, the second frequency deviation is subtracted from the first frequency deviation to achieve an idle running detection setting deviation, and also an idle running detection set value for judging the idle running of the wheels at the frequency level is achieved. The idle running frequency deviation and the idle running detection set value are compared with each other to output an idle running detection signal, and also a torque correction amount of an AC electric motor is calculated on the basis of the idle running detection signal.
