To provide a connector wherein ground terminals can be designed easily, which not only suppresses the occurrence of impedance mismatch and crosstalk, but which does not lead to interferences between contacting portions. A ground terminal for a connector has a cylindrical main body. A plurality of contacting portions, for contacting a circuit board, are formed on the bottom edge of the cylindrical main body. The ground terminal has, as contacting portions, inner contacting portions and outer contacting portions. The inner contacting portions extend toward the inside of the cylindrical main body and in the downward direction, and the outer contacting portions extend toward the inside of the cylindrical main body and in the downward direction.

Connector and semiconductor testing device having the same

A rear side connection terminal arranged along the back end edge of a housing is provided with a base part in which at least a portion is embedded in a bottom wall part of the housing, a contact arm part in a cantilever shape in which a tip end extends slanted upwards towards a front end of the housing, a contact part that is connected to a tip end of the contact arm part and that contacts with a terminal member of the card, and a contact arm support part that includes a curved part that projects rearward with a bottom side front end coupled to a back end of the base part and a top side front end coupled to a back end of the contact arm part.

Card connector

A probe connector () connects a circuit board () and a coaxial plug () including an axial terminal () and a surrounding terminal (). A coaxial probe () of the probe connector includes a center terminal () connected to the circuit board and the axial terminal; and an outer terminal () coaxial with the center terminal and connected to the circuit board and the surrounding terminal. The outer terminal includes an cylindrical outer conductor () surrounding the center terminal and mated with the surrounding terminal; an anchor () formed, as a projection (), on part of an outer surface of the outer conductor by machining process so that a hole is formed on the part of the outer surface; and a conductive cover () covering and closing the hole and electrically conducted to the outer conductor. Thus, the position of the coaxial probe is slightly shifted even when the coaxial plug is inserted thereto or pulled therefrom.

Probe connector

A slide member includes a side edge holding part, which extends towards the front end edge of the housing, and a front end holding part, which is connected to the front end of the side edge holding part and extends in the transverse direction of the housing. The slide member is able to slide forward and backward along one side edge of the bottom wall part of the housing. The housing contains a mistaken insertion prevention convex part which the front end or rear end of a mistakenly inserted card contacts.

A ground terminal has a cylindrical main body. A signal terminal has a terminal main body that is disposed on the inside of the cylindrical main body, and a connecting plate portion that extends from an end portion of the terminal main body. Additionally, a ground terminal has at least three connecting plate portions that are disposed so as to encompass the connecting plate portion of the ground terminal, each extending from mutually different positions on an edge of the cylindrical main body.

Coaxial connector

A coaxial connector (), which is attached to a circuit board () having a land (), includes a coaxial terminal () having a coaxial structure including a centre terminal () and a cylindrical outer terminal () surrounding the centre terminal; a housing () accommodating the coaxial terminal; a cylindrical contact () movable in an axial direction of an axis of the outer terminal and brought into contact with the land; a biasing member () biasing the cylindrical contact so that the cylindrical contact projects from the housing; and a rotation mechanism which rotates the cylindrical contact about the axis when the cylindrical contact is pushed into the housing against a biasing force of the biasing member. Accordingly, the coaxial connector capable of performing wiping in a terminal having the coaxial structure, such as a probe, is provided.

A floating connector is disclosed with an inner housing that is movably held within an outer housing. The connection between the inner and outer housing is effected by terminals with increased flexibility. Fitting nails are provided that serve as stops to limit the upward movement of the inner housing relative to the outer housing.
