Provided are an electronic cymbal and a case attachment method with which even when a case is attached to a frame, the distribution of hit sensitivity against a hit on the frame is uniform. In this electronic cymbal (), the case () is attached to the frame () by fitting an outer peripheral hooking section () of a case () into an outer peripheral support section () of a frame (), and fitting an inner peripheral enclosing section () of the case () into the inner peripheral side of the frame (). These components can be mounted without forming a screw hole in the frame () and screwing the case () and the frame (). Thus, it is possible to suppress the stress concentration on a specific position of the frame () due to the screwing, and to uniformize the distribution of the hit sensitivity on the frame ().

An electronic percussion instrument, a stroke detection device, and a stroke detection method which can improve stroke detection accuracy are provided. A thickness dimension (L) of an upper cover part () is approximately constant from the inner circumferential side to the outer circumferential side in a region facing the upper surface of an outer circumferential part () of the frame bow part () (a concave part formed according to a level difference between a bent part () and the outer circumferential part ()). Accordingly, the entire upper cover part () is easily deformed such that it is bent when struck, and thus a protrusion part () can be securely pressed to an edge sensor () according to deformation of the upper cover part (). Therefore, the accuracy of detection of a stroke applied to the upper cover part () can be improved.

Provided is an instrument pedal device that can be quieter when operated. According to the present invention, a pedal is rotatably supported on a base part by a first shaft. A rotation part is rotatably supported on the base part by a second shaft. A connection part is rotatably supported on the pedal by a third shaft. The connection part is rotatably supported on the rotation part by a fourth shaft. Urging force that is for making the pedal, as rotated from an initial position, return to the initial position is applied by a spring. The pedal can rotate from the initial position to a lowermost position in which the second shaft, the third shaft, and the fourth shaft are in the same plane. The urging force of the spring increases the closer the pedal gets to the lowermost position.
