A refrigeration system includes a generator, a power generation engine, a refrigerator, an electric power converter, an output control unit, and a characteristic estimation unit that estimates a refrigerator characteristic of a refrigerator according to an outside air temperature and a temperature of a cooling target space. The refrigeration system includes an output calculation unit that calculates a drive output as a target drive output that optimizes an energy efficiency of the entire system based on the refrigerator characteristic estimated by the characteristic estimation unit, an engine characteristic of the power generation engine, and a generator characteristic of the generator. Further, the output control unit controls the drive output to approach the target drive output calculated by the output calculation unit.

Refrigeration system and control device

A transport refrigeration system is configured to set a first path, a second path, a third path, and fourth path selectively. The first path connects compressors in series. In the first path, interior heat exchangers each serve as an evaporator. The second path connects the compressors in series. In the second path, the interior heat exchangers each serve as a condenser. The third path connects the compressors in parallel. In the third path, at least one of the interior heat exchangers serve as the evaporator and the rest of the interior heat exchangers serve as the condenser. The fourth path connects the compressors in parallel. In the fourth path, the interior heat exchangers each serve as the condenser.

Transport refrigeration system

A two-stage pressurizing refrigeration cycle is provide with a suction-side guiding portion in a part of a low-stage side suction pipe that leads from a bypass branch portion, at which a bypass pipe is branched, to a refrigerant suction side of a low-stage compressor. The suction-side guiding portion guides a lubricating oil from the refrigerant suction side of the low-stage side compressor to a side of the bypass branch portion. The suction-side guiding portion is located at a position in a vertical direction that is equal to or higher than apposition in the vertical direction of the bypass branch portion, and a part of the suction-side guiding portion on the refrigerant suction side of the low-stage side compressor is located at a higher position in the vertical direction than a part of the suction-side guiding portion on the side of the bypass branch portion.

Two-stage compression refrigeration cycle

In a two-stage compression refrigeration cycle device, a low-pressure side compression mechanism and a high-pressure side compression mechanism are intermittently operated to control such that the temperature of air blown into a freezer approaches a target temperature. Under the control, the high-pressure side compression mechanism is first stopped, and then the low-pressure side compression mechanism is stopped. Further, when a reference time has elapsed after driving the high-pressure side compression mechanism, then the low-pressure side compression mechanism is driven. The refrigeration cycle device can reduce a high-pressure side pressure difference upon driving the high-pressure side compression mechanism, and can also reduce a low-pressure side pressure difference upon driving the low-pressure side compression mechanism.
