An apparatusfor generating wartermark signals to be embedded as a digital watermark in real-time contents includes: input meansfor inputting the real-time contents; an input bufferfor storing the real-time contents; generation means for generating wartermark signals corresponding to predicted intensities of the real-time contents from divided real-time contents; and an output bufferfor storing the generated wartermark signals to be outputted. The generation means is configured by including prediction meansfor predicting intensities of the wartermark signals; control meansfor controlling embedding by use of a message to be embedded as the digital watermark in the divided real-time contents; and meansfor generating the wartermark signals to be outputted.

Watermark signal generating method

A method and system which improves reliability and availability of services for streaming distributions in general. A partition server and a plurality of distribution servers are provided in order to distribute stream data to one or more receivers connected together via a network. The partition server receives the stream data and the plurality of distribution servers receive respective elements of the stream data partitioned by the partition server to distribute the elements to the receivers. First, the partition server selects one of the distribution servers that can perform transmissions in order to transmit elements of the stream data received from a streaming source, to the selected distribution server. The distribution server distributes the elements of the stream data received from the partition server, to the receivers. Finally, each receiver reconstructs the original stream data from the elements of the stream data received from the plurality of distribution servers.

Method of distributing stream data and system thereof

A method for generating watermark signals to be embedded as a digital watermark in real-time contents wherein the method includes: inputting the real-time contents; storing the real-time contents; generating watermark signals corresponding to predicted intensities of the real-time contents from divided real-time contents; and storing the generated watermark signals to be outputted.
