Cell culture bag

A cell culturing method and device that uses a cell culture bag () that includes a bag body () configured from an upper surface film () and a lower surface film () having a sealed periphery, and a port () attached to the bag body (), and a plurality of recesses () being formed in the lower surface film (). The method including: a closing-off step for closing off the plurality of recesses () using the upper surface film () by discharging a culture medium (S) contained in the bag body () through the port (); and a releasing step for releasing, in some or all of the plurality of closed-off recesses (), cells or cell aggregates adhering to the inner surfaces of the recesses ().

A vessel manufacturing method includes placing a bag-shaped, film-based vessel on a placement stage with concave portions formed on the stage, introducing fluid into the vessel placed on the stage, and pressing the vessel which is placed on the stage, by a pressing member while heating at least one of the stage and the pressing member. A cell culture vessel is also provided which includes a first vessel wall as a bottom wall and a second vessel wall. The first vessel wall is formed of a flat film having gas permeability. The second vessel wall is disposed in contact with a peripheral edge portion of the first vessel wall, and has a bulge shape protruding relative to the first vessel wall. Provided are a multilayer film having excellent gas permeability and excellent handling properties and hence is suited for forming a cell culture container, and a cell culture container formed by using the same. A multilayer film used for forming a cell culture container, comprising: a base material composed of a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.87 g/cmto 0.90 g/cm; and an inner layer composed of a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.896 g/cmto 0.93 g/cmand forming a cell culture icy surface. A cell culture container is formed by using this multilayer film.

A cell culture container includes a container main body comprising a gas-permeable plastic film, and an injection/discharge port. A peripheral portion of the container main body is sealed, and the container main body has a bulging shape on a top surface side of the container main body. A plurality of concave portions serving as cell culture parts are provided on a bottom surface of the container main body.
