A medical image diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment is installed in an examination room and includes an obtaining unit, a judging unit, and an output unit. The obtaining unit is configured to obtain patient information about a patient undergoing an image diagnosing process that uses the medical image diagnosis apparatus. The judging unit is configured to determine specifics of control related to disinfection, on the basis of the patient information. The output unit is configured to output the determined specifics of the control.

The processing circuitry is configured to generate a first calculated image and a second calculated image through calculation using data obtained through an imaging in which magnetic resonance signals used for deriving a tissue quantitative value are acquired, wherein a signal value of a tissue other than a suppression-target tissue which is a target to be suppressed is low on the second calculated image as compared to the first calculated image. The processing circuitry is configured to generate a difference image between the first calculated image and second calculated image so as to generate an image on which a signal value of a tissue with a long relaxation time is suppressed.

An image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a processing circuitry. The processing circuitry obtains an MR image acquired by a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and related to a brain. The processing circuitry divides a region of the brain in the MR image, into plural regions. The processing circuitry sets a parameter value used in generation of a calculated image generated by synthetic MRI and related to the brain, such that a relation of contrast among regions included in the plural regions becomes a predetermined relation. The processing circuitry generates the calculated image by the synthetic MRI, by using the MR image and the parameter value.

The processing circuitry is configured to obtain one or more complex product signal values each indicating a signal value of a complex product and a complex ratio signal value indicating a signal value of a complex ratio calculated in units of pixels by using first data and second data successively acquired by implementing a gradient echo method after an Inversion Recovery (IR) pulse is applied and to derive a T1 value of each of the pixels from one of the complex product signal values selected on the basis of the obtained complex ratio signal value.

An image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to obtain a value of an index related to a predetermined disease for each of a plurality of sites included in a brain of a patient, on the basis of a plurality of pieces of medical image data obtained by imaging the brain of the patient at each of a plurality of points in time. The processing circuitry is configured to analyze, for each of the plurality of sites, a relationship between changes in the value at the plurality of points in time and a progress model indicating changes in the index through progress of the predetermined disease. The processing circuitry is configured to output an analysis result obtained from the analysis for each of the plurality of sites.
