This rear vehicle body structure includes a first floor cross member disposed on a vehicle front side with respect to a battery and connected to a rear side frame extending in a vehicle front-rear direction on an outer side in a vehicle width direction, and a second floor cross member disposed on a vehicle rear side with respect to the battery, in which the first floor cross member includes a widened part widened in the vehicle front-rear direction at an end portion and extending to a position at which it overlaps the battery, and a boundary part between the widened part and the rear side frame is disposed at a position at which it overlaps the battery in a side view.

Rear vehicle body structure

A vehicle battery unit includes: a battery module; and a battery case configured to accommodate the battery module. The battery case includes: a case body; and a cover configured to seal an upper opening of the case body, the case body is provided with a front-rear reinforcement member disposed in a bottom portion of the case body and extending in a front-rear direction of a vehicle, and the front-rear reinforcement member includes a first battery support portion which supports the battery module.

Vehicle battery unit

A cooling structure of a vehicle battery unit includes: at least two battery modules; a battery cooling unit; an electric connection box; a battery case; a supply pipe; and a discharge pipe. The supply pipe includes: a first supply pipe portion passing between a battery module of the at least two battery modules, which is the battery module located on one side in a vehicle width direction, and the electric connection box; and a second supply pipe portion passing between the at least two battery modules. The discharge pipe includes: a first discharge pipe portion passing between a battery module of the at least two battery modules, which is the battery module located on the other side in the vehicle width direction, and the electric connection box; and a second discharge pipe portion passing between the at least two battery modules.

Cooling structure of vehicle battery unit

In a battery pack, a cover is fixed to a case by a special component. A first service plug includes a special tool detaching the special component. Part of the first service plug or part of a first lid closing it and part of a second service plug or part of an annular component between a second housing part and a second lid closing it are superimposed together via a superimposed part. In the superimposed part, part of the first service plug or part of the first lid is positioned on a deeper side in a direction where the first service plug and the first lid are detached. Accordingly, the first service plug cannot be detached unless the second service plug is detached, and unless both the first and second service plugs are detached, the cover cannot be detached from the case using the special tool, thus ensuring safety.

Battery pack

A vehicle body lower structure includes: a battery pack provided below a floor panel and in which a cell is received in an inside of a case; a side frame extending in a vehicle body forward/rearward direction at an outer side of the battery pack in a vehicle width direction and configured to support the battery pack; and a support bracket having a first extension section that is fixed to the cell and that is disposed at an inner side in the vehicle width direction, and a second extension section that is fixed to a longitudinal wall section of the case and that is disposed at an outer side in the vehicle width direction, wherein the second extension section extends in an upward/downward direction at an inner side of the side frame in the vehicle width direction.

Vehicle body lower structure

A vehicle body rear structure is provided with a battery pack disposed in a floor recess of a rear floor panel. The battery pack includes battery modules, a pair of front suspended frame and rear suspended frame that hold the battery modules at the front and rear ends in such a manner that the battery modules are suspended from a vehicle body, and load path members through which the front suspended frame and the rear suspended frame are coupled to each other. The front suspended frame and the rear suspended frame have flanged collars and through-holes that are fastened to rear frames and fragile portions that are provided in the vicinity of the flanged collars and the through-holes and at which the front suspended frame and the rear suspended frame are bent forward when the vehicle body is subjected to an impact load in a rear-end collision.
