Provided is a display apparatus including: a display panel; an exterior member made up of a plurality of separated bezels each disposed on a front surface side of a peripheral portion of the display panel; and at least one joint members disposed on inner sides of the bezels at at least one portion where the bezels are separated so as to connect the adjacent bezels, wherein each of the joint members has a first portion having elasticity and supporting a lower end of the display panel, and a second portion having higher rigidity than the first portion and making contact with the inner side of the bezel.

Display apparatus

A display device has a display panel; a first holding member holding a plurality of sides of the display panel from a front surface side; a first shock-absorbing member disposed between the front surface side of the display panel and the first holding member, at least at a side of a lower end section of the display panel; a second holding member holding the plurality of the sides from the rear surface side; a second shock-absorbing member disposed between the rear surface side of the display panel and the second holding member, at least at the side of the lower end section of the display panel; and a supporting member supporting a portion of the lower end section. The force against the display panel from the first shock-absorbing member and the second shock-absorbing member is smaller in the vicinity of the supporting member than in other portions.

Display device

The image display apparatus includes a display panel, a holding member that holds four sides of the display panel, and a cushioning member that is disposed between the display panel and the holding member and exerts pressing force corresponding to deformation amount on the display panel. In a state where the warp present in the display panel is smaller than the warp in its maximum warp state, the pressing force exerted on the display panel from the cushioning member in a region at each of both end portions of at least one of the four sides of the display panel is smaller than the pressing force exerted on the display panel from the cushioning member in a region at a central portion of the side.

Image display apparatus

A display panel including a support structure that can reduce deformation of the display panel, that provides high positioning performance, and that stably supports the display panel is provided. In addition, a support structure of an image display apparatus including the display panel is provided. A connecting mechanism includes a plurality of first connecting members fixed to a back surface of the display panel at the side opposite to an image display surface of the display panel, a plurality of second connecting members that connect the supporting body for supporting the display panel to the first connecting members, and a relative-position adjusting portion that adjusts relative positions between the first connecting members and the second connecting members. A flexural rigidity of the first connecting members is lower than a flexural rigidity of the display panel.

Image display apparatus including connection structure for connection with supporting body

A vacuum vessel includes a face plate, a rear plate having an interior surface that opposes the face plate, and a side wall joining the face plate and the rear plate, and a plurality of plate-like spacers provided between the face plate and the rear plate so that lengthwise directions thereof are parallel to each other. In addition, a plurality of linear fixing members are adhered to an exterior surface of the rear plate on the opposite side from the interior surface at mutually prescribed intervals and along the lengthwise direction of the plurality of spacers.

Display panel and image display apparatus

A display panel includes a vacuum vessel provided with a face plate, a rear plate having a first surface that opposes the face plate at an interval therefrom, a connecting member provided between the face plate and the rear plate and connecting the face plate and the rear plate, and a plurality of plate-like spacers provided between the face plate and the rear plate so that lengthwise directions thereof are parallel to each other. In addition, a plurality of linear fixing members are adhered to the vacuum vessel by a plurality of linear bonding members. The fixing members are adhered to the rear plate by the linear bonding members at mutually prescribed intervals and along the lengthwise direction of the plurality of spacers, with each of the plurality of linear fixing members provided with a plate-like member adhered to the rear plate and a plurality of protruding portions provided on a surface of the plate-like member on an opposite side from the rear plate.
