An electric motor includes a stator around which an aluminum wire having a resin coating layer formed on a surface of the aluminum wire is wound; and a rotator arranged on an inner side of the stator to be rotatable, the aluminum wire comprising a terminal wire including an aluminum exposed portion, from which the resin coating layer is peeled off to expose an aluminum core wire, the stator comprising a terminal with which the aluminum exposed portion and a power supply wire for use in supplying electric power for rotating the rotator are connected, the terminal electrically conducting the aluminum exposed portion and the power supply wire, and a first solder layer formed on the terminal, covering an entire surface of the aluminum exposed portion, and joining the aluminum exposed portion and the terminal to each other.

A rotor, a rotary electric machine, and a rotor production method that reduce parts count, allow easy fixing, and prevent displacement. The rotor includes a rotor core having a cylindrical shape and a plurality of insertion holes, and a sensor magnet having an annular shape and placed coaxially with the rotor core, in which the sensor magnet has a plurality of protrusions protruding toward the rotor core, the plurality of protrusions are inserted into the plurality of insertion holes, and the rotor core and the sensor magnet are firmly fixed to each other by resin.

A rotary electric motor includes an annular stator, a rotor rotatably held on an inner circumferential side of the stator, a plurality of stator cores forming the stator, insulators attached to the stator cores and formed of an insulating material, coils wound around the insulators, and a plurality of terminals to which coil terminal lines of the coils are connected. Each of the terminals includes at least two protrusions protruding from a substrate. The at least two protrusions are formed of a permanent press-fitting portion for press-fitting one of the terminals into the corresponding one of the insulators and a temporary press-fitting portion for temporarily press-fitting the one of the terminals when the corresponding one of the coil terminal lines is joined to the one of the terminals with solder.

A rotor of a rotating motor includes a boss into which a shaft is inserted, a rotor yoke provided on a side of an outer circumference of the boss and formed of a plurality of pole pieces connected into a circular ring shape, and a coupling member made of resin with which the boss and the rotor yoke are integrally molded. Each of the plurality of pole pieces is provided with an injection hole that is bored in an axial direction and into which the resin is injected in the integral molding.
