The antifouling structure of the present invention includes a porous structural layer and a non-volatile liquid in pores and/or on a surface of the porous structural layer. The porous structural layer includes a modified portion at least at a surface part of the porous structural layer, and the elemental ratio of fluorine to silicon (F/Si) in the surface part is within the range of 3 to 50.

An antifouling structure of the present invention includes: a non-volatile liquid; a microporous structure layer retaining the non-volatile liquid; and a base with the microporous structure layer on a surface of the base. A surface roughness (Rz) of the microporous structure layer and a film thickness (T) of the non-volatile liquid satisfy Rz&#x3c;T. The automobile part with an antifouling structure of the present invention includes the above-described antifouling structure.

Antifouling structure

An antifouling structure of the present invention includes a microporous layer and an antifouling liquid on a base. The microporous layer includes a liquid retaining portion that is formed at a surface part of the microporous layer, and a liquid ejecting portion that is formed at an inner part of the microporous layer and has a lower affinity for the antifouling liquid than the liquid retaining portion. The film thickness of the liquid retaining portion is within the range of 1/100 to 1/50 of the liquid ejecting portion, where T is the film thickness of the liquid ejecting portion.
