Chemical analysis apparatus for inserting a sample serving as an analyzable substance and a reagent into a reaction container and agitating by irradiating sound waves to the reaction container, the chemical analysis apparatus including: a piezoelectric element generating sound waves; and a driver for driving the piezoelectric element, and including: a wave form producing device for producing an oscillation waveform having a fundamental frequency of the sound waves to be irradiated; an auxiliary waveform producing device for producing an oscillation wave form having a frequency lower than that of the oscillation waveform; a multiplying circuit creating a multiplied waveform between the waveform and the wave form; and, a power amplifier for power-amplifying the multiplied waveform, wherein it is intermittently irradiated with the sound wave in the reaction container, and further, the wave form producing device has a function capable of frequency-modulation with a prescribed frequency width.

Chemical analysis apparatus and chemical analysis method

A chemical analysis apparatus comprising reaction containers containing therein a substance to be analyzed; an agitating mechanism spaced from the substance to be analyzed and agitating said substance to be analyzed with a liquid in said reaction container; and, a measuring portion for measuring physical properties of the substance to be analyzed, said agitating mechanism having a sound supply portion supplying sound waves to the substance to be analyzed, wherein said sound supply portion comprises a mechanism changing, in time, intensity of ultrasonic waves to be irradiated so as to apply pulsation to a swirl flow in the reaction container.

A microorganism testing device includes a measurement chip having a specimen container; a reaction container for mixing a specimen and a dyeing reagent; a bacteria detection portion irradiated with excitation light; a detection liquid waste container a solution flow path which connects the specimen container, the reaction container and the bacteria detection portion, and ventilation ports which are connected to the specimen container, the reaction container and the detection liquid waste container, through a air flow path and is connected to a chip connecting tube. Bacteria are detected in the bacteria detection portion by switching of the states of the containers between a sealed state and a state open to the atmospheric pressure, by moving the specimen to the reaction container to mix and stir the specimen and the dyeing reagent, and by moving of the liquid mixture to the detection liquid waste container.

Microorganism testing device

An analytical chip and analyzer are disclosed. The analytical chip comprises a substrate and reaction cells that are formed in the substrate for receiving a sample collected from a living body. A reagent storage portion is used to store reagents to be supplied to the reaction cells. Flow paths are provided to connect the reaction cells to the reagent storage portions, thereby allowing the reagents stored in the reagent storage portions to flow into the reaction cells.

Analytical chip and analyzer

Provided is a chemical analysis apparatus comprising a mechanism which can efficiently agitate a substance to be agitated so that a sample and a reagent are agitated and mixed together in a shorter time with a saved consumption power, incorporating a plurality of sound sources or reflecting plates, and a reaction container is located between one of the sound sources and another of the sound sources or one of the reflecting plates, whereby sound waves can be irradiated toward the reaction container in several directions in order to efficiently fluidize a solution in the reaction container.

A chemical analysis apparatus in which a sample to be analyzed and a reagent are placed into a reaction container, and sound waves are irradiated to said reaction container so as to agitate them, wherein said chemical analysis apparatus comprises a piezoelectric element producing said sound waves, and drivers for driving said piezoelectric element, said sound waves being intermittently irradiated into said reaction container.

In a measuring apparatus for biomolecule interaction, a fine particle sensor surface is dipped in a buffer solution in a reaction vessel to conduct spectral measurement by way of optical fibers. The buffer solution in the reaction vessel is made to enter an upper reaction vessel and discharged from a flow channel. Air is injected from a flow channel to inject a specimen from the discharge port to the reaction vessel. Then the specimen is sucked into the reaction vessel and brought into contact with the sensor surface where a ligand and an analyte in the specimen are bonded. Bonding is measured by a spectrophotometer through the optical fibers. A buffer solution is injected from the injection flow channel into the reaction vessel and the specimen is discharged out of the flow channel. The dissociation process in which the biomolecules are dissociated along with lowering of the concentration is measured.

There is provided a group of testing apparatuses that realizes high-level testing and high quality medical treatment by conducting tests using apparatuses and facilities that are located in a distributed condition. A distributed testing apparatus is configured to be connectable to a network system to which a host testing apparatus is connected, wherein the distributed testing apparatus has a testing part that assays genetic information of a specimen, a transmission part that transmits test results information of the testing part and a specimen ID corresponding to the specimen to the host testing apparatus through the network, a receiver part that receives through the network assessment information from the host testing apparatus that corresponds to the transmitted test results information, and an output part that outputs the received information.

Distributed testing apparatus and host testing apparatus

A reaction apparatus comprises a first supply flow channel having a fine flow channel cross sectional area for a liquid pressurized by a pressurizing device, a gas supply flow channel having a fine flow channel cross sectional area for supplying a gas, a two-phase flow channel having a fine flow channel cross sectional area in communication with a joined portion for the first supply flow channel and the second supply flow channel for flowing a gas/liquid two-phase fluid, a gas bubble reaction flow channel in communication with the exit of the gas/liquid two-phase channel and having a flow channel cross sectional area larger than that of the gas/liquid two-phase flow channel, and a liquid discharge flow channel for discharging the liquid in the gas bubble reaction flow channel. Therefore, in the reaction apparatus, a stable mixing ratio of a gas to a liquid can be obtained and the mixing speed of the gas to the liquid is increased.

Reaction apparatus and mixing system

In a chemical reactor, a gas and a liquid which are in trace volumes are used to produce air bubbles and thus increase the interface area between the gas and liquid, substantially enhancing the efficiency of reaction between the gas and liquid. The chemical reactor comprises the following: a sheath flow forming block which forms a plurality of alternating sheath flows with two mutually unmixable fluids; a plurality of inlet ports through which said two fluids flow into the sheath flow forming block; a contraction zone which simultaneously contracts a plurality of sheath flows formed in the sheath flow forming block; and reaction flow channels each of which is connected with said contraction zone and is smaller in width than the sheath flow forming block.

Chemical reactor

Provided is a liquid feed apparatus for feeding liquid by operating a diaphragm at a high frequency, in which an inlet valve and an outlet valve are integrally incorporated with a liquid feed chamber, the positions of the valve are shifted into peripheral parts of the liquid feed chamber so as to allow fluid to smoothly flow from the inlet to the outlet in order to prevent air bubbles from causing pressure fluctuation during liquid feed, from remaining in the liquid feed chamber. Further, the valve has a center beam structure in which a protrusion having a height greater than several micron meters, is formed in the seat part of the valve so as to deform a center beam for pressurizing the valve in order to enhance the shut-off ability of the valve, and the center beam has a small surface area in the direction of displacement of the valve.

Liquid feed apparatus and automatic analyzing apparatus

The windowsare configured so that the thickness of the upper and lower parts of the substrate formed therein with the channels becomes thinner in these parts than in other parts. An air space is defined in the vicinity of the one side wall of the channel within a part where the first outgoing windowis formed, so as to serve as a window, and the second outgoing windowhas a shape such as to be recessed inward from the one side wall of the planar plate, in comparison with the other part thereof. Further, the fluorescence transmission pathis also formed on opposite sides with air spaces. It is noted that a rod-like fiber or the like may be embedded in the planar plateon the outgoing side of the planar plateat the time of forming the separation channeland the like.

A mixed liquid manufacturing apparatus comprises: an information input unit, in which information of an object, to which a mixed liquid is offered, is input; a material storage system that stores a plurality of materials for a mixed liquid; a product information system that selects kinds and quantities of the stored materials on the basis of the input information of the object, to which a mixed liquid is offered; a liquid transfer unit, by which the selected materials are taken out from the material storage system; a mixing unit, in which the materials supplied from the liquid transfer unit are mixed; an injection unit, by which the mixed liquid is injected into a mixed liquid container; an input unit, by which matters being declared on a label of the mixed liquid container are input; and a label formation unit, in which the input matters are printed on the label and the label is stuck on the mixed liquid container, and wherein the label formation unit begins printing before the injection unit completes injection of the mixed liquid into the container.

Mixed liquid manufacturing apparatus

A bio electron microscope and an observation method which can observe a bio specimen by low damage and high contrast to perform high-accuracy image analysis, and conduct high-throughput specimen preparation. 1) A specimen is observed at an accelerating voltage 1.2 to 4.2 times a critical electron accelerating voltage possible to transmit a specimen obtained under predetermined conditions. 2) An electron energy filter of small and simplified construction is provided between the specimen and an electron detector for imaging by the electron beam in a specified energy region of the electron beams transmitting the specimen. 3) Similarity between an observed image such as virus or protein in the specimen and a reference image such as known virus or protein is subjected to quantitative analysis by image processing. 4) A preparation protocol of the bio specimen is made into a chip using an MEMS technique, which is then mounted on a specimen stage part of an electron microscope to conduct specimen introduction, preparation and transfer onto a specimen holder.

Bio electron microscope and observation method of specimen

A chemical analyzer for measuring a concentration of components of a sample liquid, by mixing the sample liquid with reagents, so as to react the reagents upon the components thereof, includes a carrier having an introducing portion through which the sample liquid is injected, passages for distributing the sample liquid injected from the introducing portion, and plural reactor portions which hold the sample liquid therein to be mixed with the reagent, thereby to react. A movable driver portion is provided on which the carrier is mounted and a reagent charging device is provided for ejecting the reagents which are different for the respective plural reactor portions of the carrier, sequentially. Further, a detector is provided for detecting the components after mixing the reagents with the sample liquid.
