In a fuel injection device, a driving unit structure has a magnetic aperture, in which an inner diameter is gradually enlarged toward the mover side, provided in an inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. It is possible to reduce magnetic delay time upon valve opening from the supply of the electric current to the coil to the rise of magnetic flux and magnetic delay time upon valve closing from the stoppage of the electric current to the coil to reduction of magnetic flux, by providing a magnetic aperture in the inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. Thus it is possible to improve the dynamic responsiveness upon valve opening and valve closing.

Control unit of fuel injection device

An electromagnetic valve control unit for detecting operation of an electromagnetic valve on the basis of a drive voltage or a drive current applied to the electromagnetic valve. The electromagnetic valve control unit includes an A/D converter, a filter, and a detection unit. The A/D converter converts the drive voltage or the drive current into a digital signal. The filter has a gain of about zero at a predetermined frequency. The detection unit detects operation of the electromagnetic valve on the basis of an output of the filter upon input of the digital signal into the filter.

The drive current flowing to the coilor a voltage of the voltage source is detected before the injection pulse is stopped. In a case where the detected drive current or the voltage is equal to or less than a setting, a width of the injection pulse or an injection pulse different from the injection pulse is corrected to be long.

Drive device for fuel injection device

An object of the present invention is to provide a high-pressure fuel supply pump having a structure capable of adjusting the moving speed of an anchor. Therefore, the high-pressure fuel supply pump of the present invention is provided with a protrusion that protrudes toward an anchor side on a fixed core facing surface of a fixed core. The protrusion is configured in such a manner that a minimum distance between the protrusion and an anchor facing surface is smaller than an axial gap dimension configured between the fixed core facing surface and the anchor facing surface in a direction along a central axis in a state where the anchor is stationary at the time of non-energization.

The fuel injection device includes a valve body and a seat surface to perform sealing of fuel cooperatively and injection holes. Inlet opening surfaces are formed on the seat surface. A first injection hole and a second injection hole arranged closest to the first injection hole. The first injection hole is larger than the second injection hole in an injection hole angle to be an angle formed by a normal direction of the seat surface and a center axis of the injection hole. The second injection hole is larger than the first injection hole in an area of a cross-section perpendicular to the center axis of the injection hole.

To reduce collision noise caused when an electromagnetic valve of a high-pressure fuel supply pump is opened. Therefore, in a control device for controlling a high-pressure fuel supply pump including: an anchor; a fixed core configured to attract the anchor with an electromagnetic force; a suction valve configured to be opened or closed when the anchor is sucked by the fixed core; and an electromagnetic force generation unit configured to generate the electromagnetic force when applied with a driving voltage, it can be achieved by providing a control unit configured to perform control to lower a driving current from a peak current before a timing at which the anchor is sucked by the fixed core and collides in an operation state where an engine is under no load and an engine rotation speed is equal to or less than a set rotation speed.

Device for controlling high-pressure fuel supply pump, and high-pressure fuel supply pump

A drive device capable of detecting individual variations of an injection quantity of a fuel injection device of each cylinder and adjusting a current waveform provided to an injection pulse width and a solenoid such that the individual variations of the fuel injection devices are reduced. The fuel injection device in the present invention includes a valve body that close a fuel passage by coming into contact with a valve seat and opens the fuel passage by separating from the valve seat and a magnetic circuit constructed of a solenoid, a fixed core, a nozzle holder a housing and a needle and when a current is supplied to the solenoid a magnetic suction force acts on the needle and the needle has a function to open the valve body by colliding against the valve body after performing a free running operation and changes of acceleration of the needle due to collision of the needle against the valve body are detected by a current flowing through the solenoid.

Drive device for fuel injection device, and fuel injection system

In a drive unit of a fuel injection device, an electric current is supplied to the fuel injection device by applying a high voltage to the fuel injection device from a high voltage source whose voltage is boosted to a voltage higher than a battery voltage at the time of opening a valve of the fuel injection device. Thereafter, the electric current supplied to the fuel injection device is lowered to a current value at which a valve element cannot be held in a valve open state by stopping the applying of the high voltage from the high voltage source. Thereafter, in a stage where a supply current is switched to a hold current, another high voltage is applied to the fuel injection device from the high voltage source.

Drive unit of fuel injection device

A drive unit of a fuel injection device includes a driver circuit. The driver circuit opens and closes a valve element of the fuel injection device by supplying a drive current to the fuel injection device. The driver circuit supplies the drive current to open the valve element and sets the drive current to zero in an intermediate lift area. The intermediate lift area is an area is which a lift amount of the valve element is smaller than a maximum target lift amount.

The purpose of the present invention is to detect variations between the quantities of fuel injected into cylinders by fuel injection devices and correct the fuel injection quantity variation while minimizing the computational load on a drive device and the level of performance required of a pressure sensor. A drive device for fuel injection devices according to the present invention performs control wherein movable valves are driven so that predetermined quantities of fuel are injected by applying, for the duration of a set energization time, a current that will reach an energization current to solenoids of a plurality of fuel injection devices which open/close fuel flow paths. The drive device is characterized in that the set energization time or energization current is corrected on the basis of a pressure detection value from a pressure sensor that is attached to a fuel supply pipe disposed upstream of the plurality of fuel injection devices.

In view of the foregoing issues, an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control device that reduces the constraints of heat generation and charging time of a booster circuit, and decreases favorably the fuel consumption and exhaust emission of an engine. Provided is a control device of a fuel injection device which can stabilize a behavior of a valve even when a voltage of a voltage source varies, and can reduce a deviation of an injection amount. The fuel injection device includes a valve and a coil which generates a magnetic attraction force to attract a movable element which drives the valve. A control device applies a predetermined voltage to the coil on the basis of an injection pulse, causes a drive current to flow to the coil until the drive current reaches a maximum current, drives the valve by attracting the movable element, and injects fuel. The drive current flowing to the coil is lowered from the maximum current before the valve reaches a desired maximum lift position, and a constant voltage lower than a predetermined voltage or 0 V is continuously applied to the coil until the valve reaches the desired maximum lift position.

Responsiveness of an electromagnetic flow-rate control valve provided for closing a suction valve is improved and a discharge flow rate is controlled to a desired value. A flow-rate control valve includes a fixed core arranged on an inner circumferential side of a coil, a yoke arranged on an outer circumferential side of the coil, and a cover portion opposed to the coil in an axial direction, in which the fixed core has an enlarged portion in contact with the cover portion in the axial direction and enlarging toward the coil, and the cover portion is regulated in the axial direction only by a contact portion with the fixed core.
