An information providing method for providing a user who uses a device with information via a mobile owned by the user, the method generating the information to be provided to the user, in accordance with: lifestyle information obtained by a lifestyle information obtaining unit receiving the lifestyle information from the device used by the user, the lifestyle information being information on a state of operation of the device; and location information obtained by a location information obtaining unit receiving the location information indicating a location to which the user traveled.

Information providing method

Provided is an information providing method for generating and providing information, in accordance with: lifestyle information obtained by a lifestyle information obtaining unit receiving, from each of plural devices used by plural users, information on a state of operation of the device; and location information of each user traveled, which is obtained by a location information obtaining unit receiving the location information.

Provided is a multistage amplifier that can achieve both utilizing in a broad bandwidth and suppressing gain reduction. The multistage amplifier includes a plurality of differential amplifiers which are connected in series; and a direct-current component limiter that cuts off a direct-current component of input signals, in which the direct-current component limiter is disposed between the plurality of differential amplifiers, and in which a transistor size of a first differential amplifier which is disposed immediately after the direct-current component limiter is equal to or greater than a transistor size of a second differential amplifier which is disposed two stages before the direct-current component limiter.

Multistage amplifier

Provided is a compensation circuit capable of improving compensation precision for manufacturing variations. The compensation circuit includes a manufacturing variation detection circuit which detects manufacturing variation of a transistor based on a first voltage output from an output terminal of the transistor having an input terminal applied with a substantially constant first current to temperature or based on a second current output from an output terminal of the transistor having an input terminal applied with a substantially constant second voltage to temperature, and a voltage generation circuit which generates a supply voltage supplied to an electric circuit based on the manufacturing variation. The first current corresponds to the substantially constant second voltage to temperature, and the first voltage corresponds to the substantially constant second current to temperature.

Variable gain multistage amplifier and receiver

A variable gain amplifier () includes a transistor (), an FB impedance section (), a source impedance section (), a drain impedance section (), a gain controller (), and a frequency characteristic controller (). The gain controller () varies impedance of one of the FB impedance section (), the source impedance section (), and the drain impedance section (), and outputs a gain control signal. The frequency characteristic controller () varies the impedance of different impedance section, based on the gain control signal.

Variable gain amplifier

VGAs amplify a baseband reception signal using a prescribed gain. HPFs stop part, in a band lower than a first cutoff frequency, of the amplified reception signal. An ADC AD-converts an output signal of the HPFs and thereby outputs a digital reception signal. An AGC controller outputs a gain code corresponding to a prescribed gain of the VGAs. A VGA gain corrector adjusts the gain of the VGAs by a prescribed amount.

Receiver with adaptive filter and gain control

Provided is a transmission circuit that operates highly efficiently by avoiding deterioration of the linearity of an output signal and suppressing occurrence of distortion of the output signal, when using the envelope tracking method. In this transmission circuit, offset control section () sets voltage that makes the corrected envelope signal level equal to or higher than the delayed envelope signal level, as offset voltage. By this means, the corrected envelope signal level becomes equal to or higher than the delayed envelope signal level, so that it is possible to prevent the power supply voltage from being lower than the optimal power supply voltage, making it possible to prevent the linearity of an output signal from deteriorating in power amplifier ().

Transmission circuit, communication apparatus, and transmission method

Provided is a transmission circuit which allows smooth switching of the operation mode when switching the operation mode of the transmission circuit. A power amplifierincludes: a first input terminal to which a direct-current voltage or a voltage in accordance with an amplitude signal M is supplied; a second input terminal to which an output signal from a first variable gain amplifieror an output signal from a second variable gain amplifieris inputted; and a third input terminal to which an output signal from a first bias circuitor an output signal from a second bias circuitis inputted. A control sectionswitches the operation mode of the transmission circuit so that at least one of the first input terminal, the second input terminal, and the third input terminal of the power amplifier is prevented from being in a no input state.

Transmission circuit and communication device

A transmission circuit according to the present invention includes: an amplitude signal driving section () that generates a control voltage based on an amplitude signal in a high-output mode, and generates a control voltage at a predetermined level and a bias current based on the amplitude signal in a low-output mode; a variable gain adjustment section () that adjusts a power level of the phase signal; and a power amplifier () which amplitude-modulates the phase signal having the adjusted power level on the basis of the control voltage, in the high-output mode, and to a power supply terminal of which the control voltage is supplied and which amplitude-modulates the phase signal having the adjusted power level on the basis of the bias current, in the low-output mode. In a specific region in a low-output region and close to a high-output region, the variable gain adjustment section () adjusts the power level of the phase signal to a predetermined upper-limit level, and the amplitude signal driving section () adjusts a gain of the power amplifier () to obtain a desired output power level.

Transmission circuit

Provided is a transmitter which is small in size and operates with high efficiency and compensates a delay error with high accuracy. A signal generation sectionoutputs a PM test signal and an AM test signal. The AM test signal is inputted to a multipliervia a delay adjustment sectionand a regulator. The PM test signal is inputted to the multipliervia the delay adjustment section. A power measurement sectionmeasures an average power of a multiplication signal which is outputted from the multiplierand outputs a measured value to a control section. The control sectiondetermines an amplitude delay time and a phase delay time on the basis of the inputted measured value and sets the determined delay times in the delay adjustment section

Transmitter and communication apparatus

A signal generating sectionoutputs an amplitude signal and a frequency signal by conducting a signal processing on inputted data. A regulatoroutputs a signal that is proportional to a magnitude of the amplitude signal. The signal outputted from the regulatorpasses through a low pass filter, and is inputted into a power amplifier. The power amplifierconducts an amplitude modulation on a frequency signal on which an angle modulation is conducted by an angle modulation section, using a signal outputted from the low pass filter. A controlling sectioncontrols an amount of attenuation of a radio frequency component at the low pass filterbased on information such as: a modulation method of the inputted data; a modulation condition of the inputted data; a reception band; an output power of a modulation signal; and a frequency of the modulation signal.

Transmitter and communication apparatus using the same

A transmitter circuit is provided which is capable of reducing modulation distortion even when an output power of a power amplifying sectionis low. A signal generation sectiongenerates an amplitude signal and a phase signal. A regulatoroutputs a current based on the amplitude signal. A phase modulation sectionphase-modulates the phase signal, and outputs a phase-modulated signal. The power amplifying sectionreceives the current which is based on the amplitude signal and supplied as a bias current from the regulator, and amplifies the phase-modulated signal by using the supplied current. Further, to the power amplifying section, a predetermined DC voltage is supplied as a collector voltage.

Transmitter circuit and communication apparatus

A transmission circuit switches a bias circuit without allowing a power amplifier to enter a non-bias state. A first bias circuit supplies a first bias signal to a power amplifier, and a second bias circuit supplies a second bias signal to the power amplifier. A first delay circuit delays the switching of an operation of the first bias circuit using a first delay time, and a second delay circuit delays the switching of an operation of the second bias circuit using a second delay time. The first bias circuit and the second bias circuit are both simultaneously operated for a predefined time period, in order to prevent a transistor for amplification from entering a non-bias state when switching an operation mode of the power amplifier.
