A biological state guidance device includes a biological state estimation unit configured to estimate a biological state of an occupant of a vehicle, a target value decision unit configured to decide on a target value that is an index for setting the biological state of the occupant as a target state, a stimulus generation unit configured to control a stimulus generation device for generating a stimulus for guidance so that the biological state of the occupant is close to a target value on the basis of the estimated biological state and the target value, and a position information detection unit configured to detect position information of the vehicle. The target value decision unit decides on the target value on the basis of the position information.

A biological state guidance device includes a biological state estimation unit configured to estimate a biological state of a driver, a target value decision unit configured to decide on a target value of the biological state, an audio stimulus generation unit configured to generate an audio stimulus for guidance so that the biological state is close to a target value, a fellow passenger information acquisition unit configured to acquire fellow passenger information, a target state decision unit configured to decide on a target state of a biological state of the fellow passenger, and a vibration stimulus generation unit configured to control a vibration stimulus generation device for stimulating the fellow passenger by vibrations. The vibration stimulus generation unit generates the vibrations for guiding the fellow passenger to have the target state as the biological state.

A driver assistance apparatus for assisting driving of a vehicle, comprises: a first detector which detects first state information related to driving of the vehicle; a second detector which detects second state information related to driving of the vehicle; first output circuitry which outputs a first signal based on the first state information; second output circuitry which outputs a second signal based on the second state information; and a controller which controls output of the first output circuitry and the second output circuitry. The controller controls, when the second output circuitry outputs the second signal during output of the first signal by the first output circuitry, the output of the first output circuitry so as to gradually decrease and controls the output of the second output circuitry so as to gradually increase.

The present invention provides a driving assistance device that assists driving of a vehicle, the driving assistance device including a notification unit configured to perform notification for recognition of a risk associated with traveling of the vehicle present in a surrounding situation to a driver of the vehicle, a determination unit configured to determine a degree of recognition of the risk by the driver based on a period of time from when a first detector no longer detects an accelerator operation to when a second detector detects the brake operation in response to the risk present in the surrounding situation, and a control unit configured to control the notification unit so that the notification according to the degree of recognition determined by the determination unit is performed.
