A sheet discharge device includes a discharge unit including a drive roller, to be rotated by a drive source driving force, a driven roller to be driven by the drive roller, and a static elimination unit located downstream from the discharge unit in a sheet discharge direction. The discharge unit discharges a sheet out of a discharge nip portion between the drive roller and the driven roller. The static elimination unit eliminates electric charge from the sheet to be discharged. The static elimination unit includes a static elimination cloth having electroconductive fiber and facing the sheet to be discharged and includes a support member supporting the static elimination cloth. The static elimination cloth is located so that a static elimination plane of the static elimination cloth, constituting a virtual plane facing the sheet, is substantially parallel to a virtual tangent line extending from the discharge nip portion.

A sheet conveying apparatus includes a storage portion to store a sheet, first and second stack portions, first and second conveyance paths to convey a sheet towards the first stack portion and the second stack portion, respectively, a first conveyance unit, a reverse path, and a second conveyance unit. The first conveyance unit is provided downstream of the first conveyance path and reverses and conveys a sheet conveyed to the first conveyance path. The reverse path conveys, once more to the first conveyance path, a sheet that has been reversed by the first conveyance unit. The second conveyance unit is provided in the second conveyance path and downstream of an intersection point between the second conveyance path and the reverse path. While conveying and reversing a sheet conveyed to the second conveyance path towards the reverse path, the second conveyance conveys the conveyed sheet towards the second stack portion.

A printer main body is mounted on a sheet feeding option, and the sheet feeding option is electrically connected to the mounted printer main body. The sheet feeding option has a connecting member configured to turn on a turn axis. The connecting member is disposed at a position closer to one end than the other end of the printer main body in a direction intersecting a direction of the turn axis, and turns from a connected position electrically connected to the printer main body only toward the one end.

The sheet conveyance apparatus includes a frame supporting first and second bearing portions, and a restricting portion. The frame supports the first and second bearing portions such that a movable amount with respect to the frame, in a direction along a sheet conveying direction, of the first bearing portion is larger than that of the second bearing portion. A representative configuration of an image forming apparatus according to the invention includes: an image forming portion; a transfer portion; a fixing portion; a curl correcting unit which is provided on a downstream of the fixing portion in a sheet conveyance direction and includes a first roller and a second roller; a holding portion which movably holds the second roller; a biasing member which applies a force to the holding portion; a door which rotatably holds the first roller, is supported to be opened and closed, and separates the first roller from the second roller by being opened; and a retracting portion which allows the holding portion to be retracted to a position where the second roller deviates from a movement path of the door against a biasing force of the biasing member according to a closing operation of the door.
