A speaker that is configured to emit ultrasonic waves includes an ultrasonic emission unit, a reflector, and a louver unit. The ultrasonic emission unit is configured to emit ultrasonic waves in an emission direction. The reflector is disposed at a side of the ultrasonic emission unit from which the ultrasonic waves are emitted. The reflector is configured to reflect the ultrasonic waves emitted from the ultrasonic emission unit in a predetermined direction. The louver unit is disposed between the ultrasonic emission unit and the reflector. The louver unit includes slits formed therein in a manner such that the slits do not change a direction of the ultrasonic waves between the ultrasonic emission unit and the reflector, and do not change a direction of the ultrasonic waves reflected by the reflector. The louver unit is configured to inhibit entry of foreign matter into the ultrasonic emission unit.

Speaker

A speaker unit on the left side and a speaker unit on the right side are included in a case positioned behind a listener. Sound generation openings and bass-reflex ports are formed in the case on the left side and right side. From each sound generation opening, sound pressure generated forward by the relevant speaker unit is output. Each bass-reflex port communicates with an air chamber to which sound pressure behind the speaker unit is transmitted. With each sound generation opening, the opening dimension in the up-down direction is larger than the opening dimension in the horizontal direction. With each bass-reflex port, as well, the opening dimension in the up-down direction is larger than the opening dimension in the horizontal direction.

Acoustic device

A rear side of a vibration part of a speaker is covered by a cover member, and a duct is provided at the cover member. The cover member has a recessed portion, and an air flow path is formed inside the recessed portion. A circuit part is mounted on an outer surface of the cover member, and a heat sink provided in the air flow path is connected to the circuit part to allow heat conduction. Due to vibration of the vibration part, an airflow in the air flow path is accelerated and thus the effect of dissipating heat from the heat sink is increased.

Speaker with improved cooling

A vibrating unit includes a diaphragm and a bobbin, and a voice coil is secured to the bobbin. A detecting unit includes a moving magnet and a magnetic sensor. An annular magnet support is secured to a front edge of the bobbin, and the moving magnet is positioned and secured to the magnet support. The magnetic sensor is secured to a drive supporting unit. The moving magnet is secured to the bobbin, with the magnet support therebetween. This facilitates mounting and positioning of the moving magnet.

One form of an in-vehicle sound emitting device includes a front case and a rear case. The front case is partitioned from the rear case by a partition plate made from a metal plate. Rear space inside the rear case is sealed, and an electronic circuit is disposed in the rear space. A loudspeaker is mounted in front space inside the front case. By using two of the partition plates having the same structure, the front case having the incorporated loudspeaker and the rear case having the incorporated electronic circuit can be disposed separately.

In-vehicle sound emitting device

An acoustic device includes a main body case, a vibrating body provided inside of the main body case, a magnetic circuit unit disposed in front of the vibrating body in a sound emitting direction of the vibrating body, a coil located inside of a magnetic gap of the magnetic circuit unit, a bobbin configured to support the coil and vibrate along with the vibrating body, and a damper configured to connect the main body case to the bobbin. The damper is disposed in the rear of the vibrating body, and a damper regulation unit is provided in the rear of the damper at a position facing the damper.

With respect to a noise reduction device using a speaker and a microphone corresponding to each seat in a vehicle to reduce a noise in each seat, the noise reduction device includes, a signal processing unit configured to generate a canceling sound that reduces a noise at an ear of an occupant in a predetermined seat by using an auxiliary filter, an operation setting unit configured to disable operations of a speaker and a microphone corresponding to each empty seat in the vehicle, and an auxiliary filter setting unit configured to change a setting value of the auxiliary filter used by the signal processing unit to generate the canceling sound in accordance with the number of occupants in seats other than the predetermined seat, the seats affecting the noise in the predetermined seat.

Noise reduction device, vehicle, noise reduction system, and noise reduction method

An opening portion is formed along an outer peripheral edge of a diaphragm in a second casing portion partitioned by the diaphragm. In the opening portion, a plurality of fins is arranged at regular intervals, and an air passage is formed between every adjacent two of the fins. The fin and the air passage are formed so as to be at an angle to a corresponding imaginary line that extends from the vibration center line of the diaphragm in the radial direction. By forming each of the air passages obliquely, noise generated by an air flow due to sound pressure is reduced.

In-vehicle speaker

Forms of a vehicle loudspeaker system may include: a vehicle interior space defined on an inner side of a front windshield, a vehicle exterior storage space defined on a front side of the vehicle interior space such that a partition is disposed between the vehicle exterior storage space and the vehicle interior space, a cowl box disposed between an upper end of the partition and a lower end of the front windshield, and a loudspeaker including a diaphragm. The loudspeaker may be disposed in the cowl box such that sound pressure generated by the diaphragm is emitted to the vehicle interior space.

Vehicle loudspeaker system

A vehicle-mounted speaker system achieves improvement in the weather resistance against a vehicle exterior environment and enables degradation in sound quality to be prevented. In the vehicle-mounted speaker system, a supporting member separating a vehicle interior space from a vehicle exterior space is provided with an opening. The supporting member supports a speaker, and a rear cover covering the back of the speaker closes the opening. The rear cover includes an annular flexible member supported by the supporting member, and a non-flexible vibrating plate supported by an inner portion of the annular flexible member. An enclosed space is defined between the rear cover having such a configuration and a diaphragm of the speaker.

Vehicle-mounted speaker system

A loudspeaker unit includes a voice coil, a diaphragm, a damper, a frame supporting an outer edge of the diaphragm and an outer edge of the damper, and a duct projecting from an outer surface of the frame, with air moved by vibration of the diaphragm flowing into and out of the loudspeaker unit through the duct. The frame has an aperture that communicates with a space inside the frame. The duct, serving as a separate member, is attached to the frame so as to cover the aperture. The frame further includes a support tab that projects into the aperture. Link terminals are attached to the support tab. Before the duct is attached to the frame, lead wires extending from the voice coil are formed into a predetermined shape and are then connected to the link terminals in a space within the aperture.

Loudspeaker unit

A speaker includes a magnetic circuit, a voice coil, and a diaphragm which are disposed in a case. The case is placed in an engine compartment of an automobile. Reproduced sound is emitted through a duct protruding outward from the case. A partition wall, which is a metal body frame of the automobile, is present between the engine compartment and the cabin space. The duct is inserted into a hole formed in the partition wall so that a sound port faces and protrudes into the cabin space. A heat dissipation port is formed in the case, and an end surface the magnetic circuit facing the partition wall is exposed in the heat dissipation port. An elastically deformable thermal conductive sheet is sandwiched between the partition wall and the end surface of the magnetic circuit.

Speaker assembly for a high-temperature environment

An opening is formed in a ceiling lining of a vehicle cabin part. The diameter of the opening in the ceiling lining is smaller than a diameter of a speaker, which has a frame. The speaker is disposed at the opening, and a fixing screw is inserted into a fixing aperture formed in a central part of the speaker. A fixing screw is screwed to a screw hole formed in a reinforcing brace positioned at an inner side of a top plate proximate the ceiling of the vehicle. A central part of the speaker is fixed to the reinforcing brace while a circumferential periphery of the frame is pressed against a peripheral edge of the opening in the ceiling lining via a frame interposing material.

On-vehicle acoustic device and method of assembling the same

A speaker device includes a cabinet from which a duct for adjusting the back pressure protrudes, a speaker unit mounted in the cabinet, and an intermediate hollow member including first and second connection portions. A cabin space in which the cabinet is installed is separated from a non-cabin space by a partition wall. If there is a subframe facing the partition wall, the duct cannot be directly connected to the opening formed in the partition wall. The intermediate hollow member is disposed in a small space between the subframe and the partition wall, the second connection portion is connected to the opening, and the duct is connected to the first connection portion.
