In a transcatheter treatment support technique using a combination of a guide wire equipped with a photoacoustic technique and an ultrasonic imaging device, the ultrasonic imaging device estimates a front edge position of the guide wire using a difference between arrival times of photoacoustic waves arriving at an array of elements configuring an ultrasonic probe or a change of an image of the photoacoustic generation source, which depends on a distance of the photoacoustic generation source from an imaging region, and grasps a relationship between an imaging position and the front edge position of the guide wire using the estimation result. This enables visually grasping a relationship between a region (imaging region) from which an image is able to be obtained with reflective waves from a biological body with use of the ultrasonic probe and an insertion object present outside the region, particularly, the front edge of the guide wire.

Ultrasonic imaging device, treatment support system, and image processing method

Provided are an ultrasound imaging apparatus and a surgical operation support system for obtaining position information of a device outside an imaging area and presenting the position information to a user together with an ultrasound image. The surgical operation support system includes the ultrasound imaging apparatus, an ultrasonic source fixed to a therapeutic tool to be inserted into a subject body, a display device for displaying the ultrasound image and the position of the ultrasonic source. A clamper clamps an edge of a lenticular sheet and moves in a sub-scanning direction to transport the lenticular sheet. While the lenticular sheet is transported so as to form an image receptor layer on a rear side of the lenticular sheet, a sensor unit is moved in a main-scanning direction, such that the sensor unit is moved relative to the lenticular sheet in a direction which has a predetermined measurement scanning angle from the main-scanning direction. The sensor unit receives an inspection light projected toward and passed through the lenticular sheet, and outputs a detection signal corresponding to a received amount of the inspection light. Based on a variation of the inspection light, an oblique transportation angle of the lenticular sheet is calculated and the clamper is rotated in a direction to cancel the oblique transportation angle of the lenticular sheet.

A clamper clamps an edge of a lenticular sheet and is transported in a sub-scanning direction. After oblique transportation of the lenticular sheet is corrected based on a detection result from an oblique transportation detector, transportation of the lenticular sheet for forming an image receptor layer on the rear side of the lenticular sheet is performed with a thermal head contacting said lenticular sheet. In this transportation, a lens sensor is activated to optically detect a lens pitch and so on. The lens sensor is positioned between the thermal head and the clamper.
