A hydrogel sheet includes a hydrogel, and a plurality of intermediate substrates placed in the hydrogel. The plurality of intermediate substrates includes first and second intermediate substrates. The first intermediate substrate has a stretch rate of 20% to 90% measured by the following measurement method. An intermediate substrate having a 20-mm width and a 100-mm length is clamped at 70-mm intervals in the length direction. Then, the intermediate substrate is stretched in the length direction at a stretch rate of 100 mm/min, and the length L (mm) of the intermediate substrate between the clamps when the maximum load was applied is measured. The stretch rate (%) is calculated as [(L-70)/. The second intermediate substrate satisfies either (i) the stretch rate is 100% to 200%; or (ii) the stretch rate is 20% to 90% and the maximum load at the time of being fractured is 5N to 15N.

Hydrogel sheet

A hydrogelhaving a laminate structure of layer Aand layer B, wherein layer Acontains a monomer-derived component, water, a humectant, a water-insoluble polymer having tackiness and an amphiphilic polymer, the water-insoluble polymer is contained in a proportion of 3 to 20 wt % based on a total amount of layer A, and the amphiphilic polymer is a polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree of 50 to 75% and is contained in a proportion of 0.05 to 5 wt % based on the total amount of layer A; layer Bcontains a monomer-derived component, water and a humectant and is substantially free of a water-insoluble polymer having tackiness and a polyvinyl alcohol; and an amount of the water based on a total amount of layer B is the amount of water based on the total amount of layer A&#xb1;10 wt %.

Hydrogel

The present invention is intended to provide a gel sheet having a formulation providing an adhesive force on the skin side suitable for the skin (i.e., a gel having a low adhesive force and being able to withstand a tip pressure of a terminal and the like), and concurrently having a sufficient adhesive force against an electrode element on the side opposite to the skin side. The present invention is a gel sheet having a laminated structure of a layer A and a layer B, characterized in that the storage elastic modulus of the layer A at 23&#xb0; C. and 10 Hz is 12,000 to 40,000 Pa, and the storage elastic modulus of the layer B at 23&#xb0; C. and 10 Hz is 2,000 to 10,000 Pa.
