The light source device according to the present disclosure includes a light source, a light transmission part, a light intensity converter, and a collimator. The light source includes a plurality of semiconductor laser elements. The collimator includes a first lens array that has a plurality of collimator lenses. Each collimator lens collimates laser light emitted from a single semiconductor laser element. The light intensity converter includes a second lens array that has a plurality of lens arrays. Each lens array includes a plurality of lens cells so as to uniformize a light intensity distribution of the laser beam emitted from the single semiconductor laser element. The light intensity converter is disposed on a main surface of the light transmission part on the light source side. The collimator is disposed on a surface of the light transmission part opposite to the light source side.

Light source device

A beam intensity uniformizing element includes an optical base, a first lens array disposed at a front surface of the optical base; and a second lens array disposed at a back surface of the optical base. The first lens array includes first mold lens cells arranged in different directions along the front surface of the optical base. The first mold lens cells have surfaces constituting the front surface of the optical base. The surfaces of the first mold lens cells have first linear marks thereon extending in a first direction. The second lens array includes second mold lens cells arranged in different directions along the back surface of the optical base. The second mold lens cells have surfaces constituting the back surface of the optical base. The surfaces of the second mold lens cells have second linear marks thereon extending in a second direction different from the first direction. This element suppresses generation of an interference pattern and reduces cost.

Beam intensity uniformizing element

An infrared lens unit includes a lens barrel and an infrared lens supported on the lens barrel. The lens barrel includes a tubular part extending along a central axis extending in upward and downward directions and having an inner circumferential surface surrounding the central axis and a through-hole therein demarcated by the inner circumferential surface, and a protruding part disposed on the inner circumferential surface of the tubular part. The infrared lens is supported by the tubular part via the protruding part. The infrared lens is made of chalcogenide glass. The protruding part includes, in a cross section of the protruding part on a plane on which the central axis extends a linear portion extending in an upward direction from its lower end to its upper end and a sloping portion including an upper end and a lower end located at the upper end of the linear portion. The first sloping portion is inclined with respect to the linear portion such that the first sloping portion is away from the central axis as extending from the lower end to the upper end of the first sloping portion. The infrared lens contacts the linear portion and the sloping portion of the protruding part.

Infrared lens unit and infrared detection device

The present disclosure provides a beam converting optical system that is small and has high divergence angle, and provides a light source device. Beam converting optical system according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes first optical element and second optical element. First optical element is a cylindrical lens. The cylindrical lens of first optical element has first optical surface and second optical surface. First optical surface has positive refractive power. Second optical element is a cylindrical lens. The cylindrical lens of second optical element has third optical surface and fourth optical surface. Third optical surface has negative refractive power. Laser beam converges at focal area. Focal area is between first optical element and second optical element.

Beam converting optical system and light source device

Included are: a laser light source which emits a plurality of laser beams; an aspherical lens which the plurality of laser beams emitted from the laser light source enters and which converts the plurality of laser beams into convergent beams; and a phosphor which is irradiated with the convergent beams from the aspherical lens as excitation beams to generate fluorescence, wherein the plurality of laser beams have different spread angles in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction and enter the aspherical lens while arranged in a direction in which the spread angle is smaller, from among the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and the aspherical lens has a function of equalizing a light intensity in a direction in which the spread angle is larger, from among the horizontal direction and the vertical direction.

Light-emitting device and illumination device

Beam intensity conversion optical system of the present disclosure includes a laser light source and a beam intensity conversion lens that changes the light intensity distribution of laser light emitted from the laser light source and irradiates the light onto an irradiation region. The beam intensity conversion lens has a single-lens structure. The position of a paraxial image plane of the beam intensity conversion lens and the position of and the position of irradiation region are different from each other on an optical axis. The beam intensity conversion lens has a longitudinal spherical aberration characteristic on the paraxial image plane in which a changing range of longitudinal spherical aberration in a region of more than 70% of an image height is equal to or smaller than 20% of the amount of longitudinal spherical aberration at a position of 70% of the image height.
