A method for producing a plastic vehicle attachment part is described, such that a polymeric film is laid in an injection mold, the polymeric film having an opaque or semi-opaque imprint or a color pigmentation. The polymeric film is back injected with a polymeric covering part, wherein the polymeric covering part is optically transparent. A polymeric carrier part is sprayed at least on a part of the surface of the polymeric covering part facing away from the polymeric film. A protective layer is applied at least on the polymeric film.

Method for producing a plastic vehicle part

A method for producing a plastic vehicle attachment part is described, wherein a polymeric film is laid in an injection mold, the polymeric film having an opaque or semi-opaque imprint or a color pigmentation. The polymeric film is back injected with a polymeric covering part, wherein the polymeric covering part is optically transparent. A polymeric carrier part is sprayed at least on a part of the surface of the polymeric covering part facing away from the polymeric film. A protective layer is applied at least on the polymeric film.

A polymeric vehicle window is described, having a composite component with an inner opaque polymeric layer and an outer transparent polymeric layer, wherein the inner opaque polymeric layer and the outer transparent polymeric layer are connected in a planar manner. The inner opaque polymeric layer has at least one at least partially piercing hole, an LED assembly, with an LED, a printed circuit board, and electrical contacts arranged in the hole. The LED assembly is placed in such a way that the LED is in the direction of the outer transparent assembly.

The invention concerns an essentially flat plastic product, at least partly transparent and whereof one part at least of the external surface consists of added overmoulded plastic material. The invention also concerns two methods for making said product, using injection moulding technique and the use of said product as glazing for transport vehicles or buildings.
