In some embodiments, an electronic device present navigation routes from various perspectives. In some embodiments, an electronic device modifies display of representations of (e.g., physical) objects in the vicinity of a navigation route while presenting navigation directions. In some embodiments, an electronic device modifies display of portions of a navigation route that are occluded by representations of (e.g., physical) objects in a map. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents representations of (e.g., physical) objects in maps. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents representations of (e.g., physical) objects in maps in response to requests to search for (e.g., physical) objects.

User interfaces for maps and navigation

In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide an inside view that includes the physical layout and geometry of the venue's structure as well as the location, structure and layout of points of interest (e.g., stores, security check points, restrooms) within the venue. The views become more detailed as the user zooms into the venue to reveal points of interest and to give the user a feel for traversing the venue.

In some embodiments, an electronic device displays a map user interface including a representation of a map at a respective zoom level and a location indicator that indicates a determined location of the electronic device on the representation of the map. In some embodiments, the location indicator includes a first location element and does not include a second location element. In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide a unique venue directory, providing an easy and visual mechanism to search for categories of points of interest (e.g., clothes, food, restrooms) or specific items within the venue. Search results can be presented on a map of a floor within the venue as well as a listing providing all search results located within the venue.

In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. The application can provide an inside view of the venue, which is accessible by other applications and programs on the user's device. Thus, whether intended or not, search results that are identified by the map application as having an inside view of the venue are also presented on a graphical user interface along with typical search results from the other applications.

In some implementations, a computing device can present a dynamic street scene overlay when presenting a map view on a display of the computing device. The dynamic street scene overlay can be presented such that a user can clearly view both the dynamic street scene and the map view. The dynamic street scene can be dynamically adjusted in response to the user manipulating the map view to a different location. The dynamic street scene can be presented such that the objects in the images of the dynamic street scene have a three-dimensional look and feel. The dynamic street scene can be presented such that the dynamic street scene does not prevent the user from viewing and interacting with the map view.

In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide a route and/or turn-by-turn navigation instructions to a destination within a venue comprising one or more floors when desired by the user.
